Just Googled Let It Shine. How has this passed me by? Looks like a total cheesefest and a bit camp. I'll definitely be watching. It has excellent comedy potential.

Love the fact that contestants will be kept amused back stage with soft drinks, a dart board and ping pong, and Mel Geidroyc.

Nancy good point about the cost of the medical flight. They'll have to sell more than a few of Babe's baps.

Love the typo there - am trying to imagine the porning of the Queen Vic - lots of pics of boobs, and Whit showing even more cleavage than usual? Lee wearing less than usual?

I must say that I am liking some of the things the new producer is bringing to the show - I like the detail (that sounds weird but things like the close-up on Max's burns under the street light, and the framing of the final shot of Roxie and Ronnie in the water, and the way Jack telling the Cinderella story provided such a haunting voiceover) - but I think the recasting of Michelle has not been done well. What's the deal with her suddenly needing to turn the heating up and glug orange juice? - she's been back for a while now and been fine so far

Yeah, where does Babe get her supplies from? You Never see a lorry turn up and she is never out of that pub kitchen. Yet there is always heaps of food!
Whitless's tinkly laugh will be paused now the truth is out there. She will have to lower her expectations now.

Te he, I was wondering what Porning the whole pub looked like. Visions of it being sold as a low budget porn set, with all the locals roped in and Mick in a black leather gimp suit.

To those questioning whether Michelle is an alcoholic and hence the scene of the orange and ice - I thought the ice being added to her drink whilst turning up the heating was to emphasise how much of an annoying house guest she is - turning up the heat whilst trying to cool herself down with a ice cold drink? But maybe i'm just making up my own stories...

Whitney did put pressure on re the flat, ok she was told Lee had a good job but buying a flat for 330k with no savings was ridiculous idea. I've found the way they have done the Lee/Whitney relationship odd. There has been this old fashioned focus on her as a homemaker and Lee as a provider, bringing in 'the readies' and needing to shelter her from the truth. In reality a couple their age would be sitting down working out how her income could increase too.

Enid I am still gutted about R and R going too. And cross with Mick for not being older.

I wonder if they will keep Jack in it? I hope so as it would be good to see them follow through on the long term implications of one of these dramatic incidents. If Jack finds out about the drugs, won't he blame Roxy even more for being in that state?

Agree Max and Roxy would have made a great couple.....how come that never happened before, or did it? I forget with Max, and with Roxy.....one reason they would have been good together!
