BBQ I'm wondering if he has died at some point, rather than them splitting up.

What happened at the end?Confused who was the mum with? I was distracted by the bad ageing makeupGrin

Report
buddhasbelly · 14/12/2016 18:42

dame the make up was awful wasn't it?

Aside from that the twist was the mum (mandy moore, forget her characters name) being with the dad's (Jack's) best friend Miguel so either the dad has died or they've split up but...she was still wearing the necklace he gave her which to me would suggest he died?

I may not have explained that well...Confused

Yeah the makeup was terrible! And the wig!

Still, liked this episode too, even though the schmaltz levels are a little on the high side for my liking I'm gonna stick with it.

Ah right thanks I didn't know who the man was!

I really like Sterling K Brown (Randall). He won an Emmy for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in The People vs. O.J. Simpson.

He's my favourite, too, (although I was already a Milo fan). I saw him (Sterling) being interviewed on tv and he was really likeable, Plus, I admired his work on This Is Us, so I bought the OJ programme from iTunes just for him.

Huge Brothers & Sisters fan here too (as you can guess by my username!) so this is right up my street. Not disappointed so far, all the characters are interesting, there's enough humour to balance out the schmaltz and I loved the twist in the first ep. Also enjoying watching Stirling Brown again, he was amazing in OJ.

Meh wasn't keen on the 2nd episode yet loved the first. If episode 3 doesn't do it for me I'll probably ditch it, though the reviews continue to be amazing. Bad, bad make up at the end there.

Ooo thanks PP, I now know where I know the name Ken Olin from - I watched Brothers And Sisters to a point. I loved it but for some reason the scheduling got hard to keep track of. I did watch several series.

I preferred Parenthood. I used to ugly cry to that constantly.

This weeks ep. I'm super sad that the biological siblings are really close and less so with their brother

Five minutes in to the first episode and I was blubbing. I really like it.

The guy with Mandy Moore totally totally threw me. Get it now. Least I think I do!

This is a great series. Enjoying the flipping back and forth business. Very clever.

Can I ask what episode you guys in the UK are up to? The last episode until January, (which I am about to watch) is a Christmas episode. Have you guys seen that yet?

Love this show and reminds me so much of Thirtysomething. Have to say that every time I see the wonderful actor Chris Sullivan, Toby, he looks like an overweight James Nesbitt

I'm really enjoying this series so far.
It's nice to find a tv series to look forward to.
Well, I've lost the will to live waiting for Homeland to return.

LOVED this weeks. Series is so brilliant the way it goes from childhood to adults

I did feel for all 3 of them.

Too fat and horrible tweens
Trying to fit in as a black boy in a white family
Feeling ignored due to other twos problems

Tho did think the lifeguards were crap and didn't notice kev spluttering
