Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

I thought it was a good episode but very much spoilt by the cliffhanger. I guessed it would be Abe. Had an inkling that Glen would go too.

My DH has given up on it as he thinks it's just the same story over again. I can see his point. Not sure whether it'll stop me watching though!!

Negan was brilliant and rather attractive I still want him to die though

I'm getting a bit sick of the 'Negan: the psycho with a smile' shtick already. I said to DH that I wasn't sure I was going to keep on watching as it was getting too much like torture porn - 'Saw'/'Hostel' type thing - for my liking.

Obviously I will though!

I actually looked round the room at one point thinking christ, Negan, stop talking! So boring. I can't take him seriously. He doesn't look scary, he looks lanky. Negan is supposed to be a hulk of a man, hence why he's scary, he's physically tough. JDM is lovely but he's not scary, he's up his own arse and bloody annoying.

Yeah JDM has kind eyes not psycho eyes. I'm not convinced by him yet.

Can anyone explain Abe's message to Sasha - I saw it and the picture upthread but I don't really get what it meant. Also what did Sasha say to Rosita over Abe's body - have trouble making out words sometimes and they don't have subtitles on Now TV!

JDM has lost loads of weight in recent years.

Think she said "ill take him now" or words to that effect,as in put abe in the van. I think being respectful of Rosita's and abes history.

Love them try to cover up pregnant Tara yet she has the standard pregnant face/neck that everyone gets.

Megan doesn't make me feel as scared as the Warden did. I felt on edge whenever he was in it, Negan, just pure hate.

So why did Negan choose who he did? Abraham I can understand - taking out the toughest. But Glen almost seems incidental - because he was closest to him. Sure there's more to it than that though.

I normally like a bit of zombie splatter but that was pretty brutal and struggled with the Carl arm. I too have always been strangely drawn to Rick biting that guy's Neck out in order to save Carl, but this felt worse.

Initially, I thought Negan was going to cut Rick's hand off. They focussed on the axe a lot near the end. One day Rick's going to kill Negan with it.

Where's Carol when you need her?

Gutted about Abraham. Indifferent about Glen. Surprised? No.

I just want to see a kick ass tiger now. But it'll be just like that horse scene in Atlanta if it becomes Zombie fodder. Now that disturbed me. The tiger who came for tea....

I think they should have had Abraham dying at the end of the Season 6 finale - and then sucker punched us with Glenn as a shocker in the premiere last night. I think that would have had greater impact. There was so much focus on who it was going to be that the emotional resonance was lost - and I adore Glenn, so can't believe I wasn't distraught by his death. I'm more bothered about Daryl's capture!

I thought the Carl thing was really OTT and I felt that Negan was going to stop Rick - it made the point very effectively but it was a bit much. I think there was too much Negan in the episode.

All that said, my excitement for Season 7 is totally reignited - I think it's going to go somewhere amazing now.

I think they said on the talking dead that the tiger is in the next ep. I'm excited.

Normally if I read something and then see it on screen and they change bits it's annoying but because they have made Daryl such an amazing character and you feel that even if it's not going to the comic book there is a reason for it or hinted that it might still go there.

I think if they had toned down the two deaths then comic book fans may have been disappointed because of the impact of them in the book. They're brutal for a reason. We've lost some big characters all the way along so we're not surprised by that but these deaths need to really hit you as they do the rest of the gang. You need to understand why Rick breaks and that Negan is a force. We saw Rick take down the likes of the governor and Carol blow up the sanctuary. We know they can handle shit but this you need to feel for a bit that maybe they've met their match.

I'm looking forward to Carl/Negan stuff.
