I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

I didn't like it. I found the violence really cruel and senseless and just too violent. Not sure if I can watch the rest. I couldn't even finish watching this 1st episode.

It was brutal. I watched most of it through my fingers. But, I think it will settle down. I'm interested in the Kingdom and the relations among the the communities. I think there's going to be a lot of character development this season. It can't all be like that. My heart was literally pounding.

Just watched, the rumours of two were right. One thing's for sure, that episode has made me hate Negan. Glenn was the worst to watch for me but had a feeling they'd stick to the comics in some way for this. He's been my one of my favourites from the start.

Ricks acting was absolutely brilliant though.
Can't believe how evil Negan is, really make the gov look like a puppy in comparison! (He's still gorgeous though!)

Just watched it. My heart was beating so fast for the duration of the episode, wondering what the crazy bastard was going to do next. Really thought Rick's hand was coming of in the caravan, though had a feeling Carl's would be ok. Didn't know any spoilers before I watched it so Glenn was a surprise :(

I really like Negan! They needed someone like him to give them a wake up call. The Governor was a pussy cat compared to this!

What do you think will happen with Daryl? Wasn't Dwight running away from the saviours when he first met Daryl? Maybe this is how they capture people and make them work for them.
I really like this storyline because Daryl isn't in the comics so nobody can speculate what will happen. Looking forward to this season so much!

I noticed we saw a glance of Daryl when they had guns to their heads and Dwight was watching the gunman who had his gun on Daryl as though if he tried to shoot, he would stop him. I think those 2 will help everyone eventually.

Absolutely brutal episode. Glenn was the worst to watch....so sad as the rest were completely powerless to do anything to help anyone.

Yes, Negan has Dwights wife as one of his wives. Dwight hates Negan as far as I know. Looking forward to seeing what happens next. There has been a clip released of Carol and Morgan entering 'the kingdom'

Well that was difficult watching! Brilliantly done and acted though. I think it's good that Negan is an attractive man too - you can see how he got power in the first place, how he got people to follow him before he had the strength in numbers to make them.
As an aside, I did the drive from Atlanta to Washington DC in the summer - it was a bit freaky as it (unsurprisingly) looked exactly like the programme. I kept expecting to see walkers emerge from the woods. Photo taken by DD while I drove.

I had a feeling carl wasn't gonna lose his hand, because I'm sure they said they weren't gonna cut anyone's hand off because the cgi after Hershel's leg was a PITA
