Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

They have to stay true to the comics though. I wonder it Robert Kirkman is writing more and more absurd material to see how they incorporate it into the shows :)

I think they probably find fresh zombies to feed to the tiger (tainted meeeaattt) !!! They would have to find fresh ones as some of the zombies look decidedly rotten now.

I still love the show and look forward to it every week but I agree its getting a bit ridiculous. I suppose we're so used to the zombies now that the producers need to find other ways to keep the audience entertained but its leaving a few holes in the story line.

The new group were odd, all looked like zombies already! And the corny smiles between Rick and Michonne, it's all feeling a bit schmaltzy.

The worst bit though was the terrible fake background when Rick was high up!

Carol's so rude to Jerry and the King, they bring her food etc, ok she just wants to be left alone but no need to be rude. I don't get really why King is so invested in her - he hardly knows her! She's going to be mad at Daryl for not telling her the truth!

OMG no, I didn't notice that - but having watched the clip on the link that you posted, I think that MUST be something. The whole background was (crap) CGI so someone must have inserted that in there.

But, here's the thing. TWD doesn't do hidden messages, or clever subtle clues. Remember us all going nuts over the Morse Code poster and the blinking? It never happened. There have been loads of other theories of subtle sub-plots and messages on here over the years, and none of them have ever materialised - It's just a bit more blunt than that, subtle subliminal stuff is not TWD style.

I would LOVE to be wrong though. If those flying things were intended, I'd suggest they were missiles rather than UFOs though. Or aeroplanes.

I had another look at that scene. Yes, it does look like there is an aeroplane but there are also some other things moving - I think cars. Has anyone else had a look? Can you see the cars too?

I think that it was an editing fail.

Having said this it has been a very long time since they had indication of any military groups still alive. In the first and second season didn't they have the occasional helicopter fly over? I would have thought not totally impossible for some military to still be alive and possibly government officials as they are close to Washington. That would be an interesting spin.

The Governor killed the last lot of military types didn't he? Don't think we've seen any since. Except for the dead one hanging off the bridge with the rocket launcher that Abe acquisitioned.

Eugene, he is retelling the tale that he was a scientist involved in a secret task, does anyone think that it could actually have some truth?

The morse code could be how ricks lot communicate with eugene a bit later on perhaps?

I think Eugene might possibly have been the cleaner in a lab. I think that's how he picked up the lingo.

Im really confused after watching tonights. I didnt get it at all.

I find it a bit implausible that more military types wouldn't have survived. That's what they are trained to do day in day out for years. That's why Rick's people are still here because they had Shane initially, then Rick and their training and resourcefulness as cops - similar to military, kept them all safe till they could adapt. Shane is in The Accountant with Ben Affleck by the way. I always thought Shane got a really raw deal.
