Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

I think Rosita's in a pretty dark place. Abraham dumped her pretty brutally and then immediately started up with Sasha, then Abraham and Glen were beaten to death in front of her, Spencer was killed in front of her, her great assassination plan failed dismally resulting in Olivia's death and Eugene being taken by Negan.

On the bright side, she knows about explosives.

Just rewatched the end bit and there are a few (what looks like) men in the group, so maybe it's not the ocean group.

Maybe they are an androgynous group. Maybe we're at the point where some survivors are choosing groups with commonality. Next week they find some emos.

What happened to Heath? He got separated from Tara on that bridge but that was days ago. He's still in the comics but I think he's only got one leg.

We don't know if Heath survived the bridge, they only followed up on Tara. Apparently the actor got a new role in 24 or something so I guess the writers are leaving it open for him to return later.

How strange are the garbage people?! And it was a bit of a turn around seeing Gabriel saving everyone. His character has had a really interesting story.

Loved the Carol and Daryl scene.

What is Rosita's problem? Obviously she's still upset about Abraham but she has been a feisty and fairly clued up character from the start and that idea of going off on her own seems unlike her.

Don't think Tara will be keeping the Ocean group secret for much longer. They had a lot of guns...

It was like Mad Max crossed with Stig of the Dump . I hope they've got some antibiotics for Rick's hand.

I think Rosita is grieving hugely for Abraham, particularly as he was murdered so sadistically. Witnessing that powerful, strong man subjected to that kind of brutality has really shaken her.

And yet only days earlier he had dumped her for someone else and broken her heart. So when he died she hated him.

Her emotions are all over the place. An example of how the norms of the world they used to live in no longer apply. She can't be pissed off and broken hearted that the boyfriend she loved has dumped her for another woman because she's now got to watch him and another friend being killed and then see her other friend gutted in front of her and then see another friend shot etc etc etc. All whilst being tormented by a psychotic madman who is holding her community to ransom. Then Eugene is taken because of her actions - how much more can she take?

She's behaving like a petulant brat but I think she's simply got a death wish.

In this world she'd get some counselling or go on holiday or get drunk with her friends. No such luxury here. People have to evolve quickly now.

Quite liking the absence of Negan with his fucking yap yap yap too.

Bit of a boring episode but the story moved on. Great to see Carol and Daryl together.

Concerned about Rosita, I think she will do something silly and put everyone in danger.

I think it was a really good episode. When Richard was talking about leading the saviours to 'a woman' I was willing Daryl to ask her name. So glad he did!

Carol will find out what happened to the others eventually and then she'll turn badass again and be an integral part of the war against the Saviours.

Also, it was so sweet when the tiger rubbed her head against Daryl's hand. Such a cute pussy cat! 😜

I came on here to say FFS Rick, he fought the Spike Zombie like an absolute pansy! The whole purpose of that was for the weird fringed leader lady to see him prove his fighting props. He cowered, and flounced about like an amateur! And she seemed impressed..!!!

Awww Carol and Darryl are back and they love each other. And he didn't tell her about Abe/Glenn to spare her sweet little heart. When she finds out, she'll go full on Apocalypse Now.

Is anyone else feeling that the series is all getting a bit silly. Yeah, I know, I can't really complain about realism in a tv show about zombies, but what first attracted me to it was seeing how people cope in the post-apocalypse world in a semi realistic way. Now we have this weird scrapheap tribe with their matching goth wear, and a self styled King with a fucking Tiger.

Which brings me to Chimichangaz and others upthread asking about Fear the Walking Dead. I've just finished both series, and I loved it. It's far more realistic, it's normal people doing normal things in a normal zombie apocalypse world. There are no stupid tribes, no costumes, weird ways of talking and Nick is hot.

I always felt the appeal of TWD is trying to imagine yourself in the same situation.

There has now been quite a leap, though, from imagining whether or not you would be able to outrun or fight a zombie to imagining how you would tackle a Negan type character.

FTWD is still early on in the apocalypse so still has the initial appeal.

Yes that's exactly it LittlePig, that's why I love zombie apocalypse type films, it's about how people survive when society breaks down. How they find food, protect themselves and rebuild social order.

So I guess the formation of tribes isn't that unrealistic. But its the nature of the tribes that is just venturing into Mad Max terrirory too much for me.

I hope it finds its way back to the initial vibe of the early days. The script is too far fetched and at times incoherent for me and I don't get excited about it any more. Have moved on to Line of Duty instead.

They don't seem very trustworthy to me.

Yes, I think they jumped the shark when the tiger showed up.

Having said that, I'd still really like to see them use the tiger to attack Negan, if you're gonna suspend reality to have a bloody tiger in a cage in a zombie apocalypse - might as well use it to full effect.

But one thing that hits me right in the face every time I see it ... they're scraping a living off home grown veg and tinned food.... how the hell are they keeping a Tiger alive??? What the hell do they feed it?
