Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

Alexandria alone had a population of 140k. This is a place only 7 miles from downtown Washington. On average a central location food supply is 4-7 days in supermarkets. In Alexandria alone, that is at least 500,000 people days of food. Washington has 7 million people, so at least 28 million person days of food. This excludes several days in each person's house.
Assume the virus struck and people survived in their houses or died in the streets until 99.99% of the population is zombified. Still 14 million person days of food for the survivors.

This episode makes me hopeful that the second half of this season will be better than the first!

Heath was out with Tara. They got separated and she ended up in the women's camp and he hasn't been seen since. He couldn't be the watcher because s/he looks white but he could be with the new group and be the reason Rick is smiling.

There's no way there'd be that much food left now. They're a couple of years into it now and all perishable food would be long gone.

Over 50% of food in supermarkets in non-perishable - plenty left. For example, the Heinz factory in Wigan produces over 1 billion cans a year. That is 2.7 million a day - 2 days production left would be over 5 million cans available.

Very glad they are starting to fight back. Last season (half season? ) bored the tits off me and having been an avid fan from episode 1 nearly thought that was me done.
