I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

I'm loving this season. Monday's episode was amazeballs.

Now, how far ahead do the comics go? I was wondering should I read them and if so where do you get them?

I thought boat person put their name on the sign they'd written and it was a man's name?

I kept saying to DH that if Rosita had just gone to the house, taken something round, pie, an apple, whatever, she could have easily shot him at some point. Obviously that wouldn't happen as we need him a while for the plot.

He's much more preferable to Gregory. Not just because he's good looking (he is, when they announced his casting I couldn't help but thinking I'm going to have a tough time crushing on Negan), but because he's not a coward.

Ridcully the comics go a couple of years ahead in the timeline from where we are now but they do it by having a huge jump in time after the Negan storyline. So I'd say that in content terms they're a series ahead. They're in the midst of the next big storyline at the moment.

I've really enjoyed reading the comics. It's added to my experience rather than spoiling the show.

I'm wondering, theinternet if they might not have such a gap in the series. To explain why carl is now the "right" age

I would prob read them from the beginning just so you don't read thinking where's so and so, who's this etc as stories, romances, deaths and lives are switched in tv series (plus no Daryl).

I started with getting the compendiums from Amazon, not sure if that's the cheapest place though x

(I downloaded a torrent of them, cheaper but not strictly legal)

I wondered that beyond. I've also wondered if there'll be a series of non comic storyline to allow the comics to get ahead a bit.

Yes GOT will now be zooming ahead. But GRR martin has supposedly told the producers the final outcome so they can make their way to the 'correct' endpoint in their own way.

The fat guy that Daryl killed was working on a series of explosive decides to lead away a herd of nearby walkers (if my memory s correct, it was 2/3 episodes ago).
The "ironed" guy was supposed to be doing something with the devices and left his duty for rumpy with the girl.
My son has a way out theory about whose boots they are, if he's right it'll all kick off hugely, but it's not in the comics.
