The walking dead is on at 2.30am on Fox!!!

Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

I assumed the zombie guy on the outpost up the tree by the water was the original ammo keeper. killed perhaps by the gal in the boots?

re-watched yesterday. loved it when the slightly hot guy in riot gear said to Carol "I don't expect you've been involvef in much fighting" or simliar words. they're so going to do it.

I wear jazzy high tops. I think if i was surviving I would be raiding for some flashy shoes or doing a bit of embellishment on them. I want a character where you're like "daaaamn, you working it". Fashion can be functional, ya know?

I liked sasha but I'm not sure there's anywhere for her character development and plots to go now.

Since Negan there is a firm switch to humans being more worrying than walkers, it has happened gradually before but even as recently as when they had to walk through the walker invasion in Alexandria before Carl got shot we felt fear from them but this series even with what happened with Aaron you feel the threat like a wild animal but not that menacing fear iyswim which I think we have felt for most of it. I wonder if it will ebb and flow or if that is a set route the plot/post apocalyptic life would take. A bit like living where polar bears live is ok if you know what to do, scary when you hand an encounter but you can see them and it's ok as you know you're safe but there a serial killer in your ice cold village would be terrifying.

I know what you mean. The dead aren't the biggest threat anymore. You can take a few of them at a time. The living on the other hand...

The dead are also starting to decompose and become less capable. Still dangerous, and disconcerting en masse, but all survivors now know how to deal with them, how to stop them, and they treat the newly deceased accordingly too. You aren't as scared of what you know.

The new groups of people are unknown and unpredictable. Negan is especially unpredictable. I think it needed the dynamic shift. I don't think we're as scared of the zombies now either.

Gah - why isn't it on tonight? Have I missed something? Can't find it anywhere.

Mid season break - back in Feb

Bugger. I'm guessing this must be a 'thing'. I compulsively watched the previous 6 series back to back on box set, so wouldn't know. twitches

Last week was mid season finale - no episodes till mid Feb I'm afraid!!

Well that was odd!! No replies when I read and replied and I'm pretty sure it didn't take me 9 mins to type!!!

Thanks Dodo - how disappointing. I was really looking forward to watching tonight.... might have to wrap some presents instead.

Bit late, but yes dixie he was judas in lady gaga's song of the same name, he's a badass in that with a leather jacket and motor bike too, I used to watch the video just because of how yummy he looked in it! Sort of similar to how he started off in twd before he grew greasy locks...

WThis season just didn't grab me, I don't know why.

Also with the passing of time between seasons, I just get muddled as to which group of survivors is which
