Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

The Morse Code seems like it might be a bit shoehorned in - oh look! Daryl can do Morse Code! But maybe they'll make it convincing.

Foxes, I wanted Daryl to give in and say "I'm Negan" just so he'd get a wash. Once Carol threatened to turn the hose on him and I got more excited than I have ever felt watching this show but sadly it came to nothing.

I think Rick would have told Negan that Sasha and Michonne were out scavenging. I think they will be keeping Maggie and Sasha well away from Negan because they can't be trusted not to go for him - well, presumably also they are protecting Maggie to keep her pregnancy secret if she hasn't miscarried.

I hope Negan is going to be a bit less one-dimensional at some point - I don't just want to watch the same routine from him over and over.

I don't think there'd be much to do at night in a zombie apocalypse, so if that poster has been there all the time, it's possible he's just sat and memorised it if bored. If I'm waiting in a doctors surgery, for example, I'll sit and read and re-read the posters.

Foxes Daryl's hygiene is really affecting you {hug}. I am the opposite with Morgan because I saw line of duty first. I just think the Rick actor is so much more attractive as an american cowboy...who knew.

Negan is seriously spoiling it for me at the moment. I have never been as disinterested in TWD as now.

We were supposed to watch it last night - normally record on a Monday but with other stuff going on don't get to watch until Tuesday. Neither of us could be bothered last night. I told DH it was a Negan one and he said 'Oh. Extended? Should we leave it till weekend then?' And we watched Wheeler Dealers instead

And I normally really like JDM. But we watched The Watchmen at weekend and The Comedian was very similar to Negan. Ho hum.

I've just been reading about the morse code stuff. I don't know what to think about it yet.
They certainly put that morse code poster in there for a reason. Also Eugene working on that radio thing at the start.

At first I just thought daryl couldn't open his eyes properly because he'd been in the dark lol.
Now I don't know. I could see someone like Abe maybe knowing morse code, but I don't know about daryl. Not only did he have to know it, he also had to know that Rick would be able to understand what he was doing.

I think il watch it again, but now I know what to watch for, I'm sure It will be obvious.

I mixed my Morse code finger-tapping female character up with someone in something completely different. I watch so much TV that it all starts to blur into one.

I'll try to find a rerun and watch it again.

I did smile at Father Gabriel taking Negan by surprise.

I agree with a pp, that Dwight is being underestimated atm. He was desperate to escape Neagan with his wife and sil when Daryl helped them. I think him asking Rosita to get Daryl's bike was a bit of an apology for taking it off Daryl,and he will fix it up and return it to Daryl.
He is kind of looking out for Daryl. But he's smart, he knows Negan will see through it. He kept telling his ex wife to shush when she recognised Daryl in front of the doctor. So wants to keep his connection with Daryl a secret.
Dwight is a goodie,you mark my words.
Also agree that JDM needs to stfu, he takes up too much screen time prattlling on.

Oh no I just googled the Daryl and morse code stuff and there was some discussion that Negan had cut his tongue out!
Seems to fit, asked him to plead his case to stay in Alexandria but he didn't say anything then Dwight said he could have his motorbike back, all he had to do was ask!

Well I've only just got around to watching it.
I didn't notice the morse code poster either but then I was working as I watched it and wasn't watching that closely.

If they have that poster up then I wonder if they have all be learning it as a method of communication in such circumstances. Given that they can't spend the evenings dicking about on mumsnet then they'll have the time.

I don't think Daryl's mute - I think he's stubborn and will not be broken.

I think Megan wants to hear Darryl answer "Negan" when asked who are you? So I'm not sure he'd cut his tongue out. (Plus wouldn't he be pretty poorly from blood loss after only a few days?)

The cynic in me thinks Daryl is quite safe, Norman Reedus always modelling the T-Shirts etc I think he's the money spinner but then it's TWD, I don't think anyone is safe really!

I don't think they've cut Daryl's tongue out, otherwise Negan would have been like, "hey Daryl what do you think? Oh...sorry Rick...Daryl can't answer you, WE'VE CUT HIS TONGUE OUT!" (a lot of swaying and swaggering here...just imagine him saying those words!) He would have had to tell Rick in his pantomime way! I hate him!

IM still hoping for a Daryl, Dwight and Sherry rebellion.

I don't know how Andrew Lincoln can leave now. It's all centred around that character and the comics are still going.
