The walking dead is on at 2.30am on Fox!!!

Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

Negan is really annoying but character-wise, he's quite true to the comics IMO. He's supposed to really love the sound of his own voice and does go have long episodes of talking that are essentially him listening to himself and liking what he hears. But he's dangerous enough that it's safer to let him without interruption.

I quite like Negan but a large proportion of that is because it's Jeffrey Dean Morgan and I loved him when he played Denny in Grey's Anatomy!

I agree with whoever upthread said that the Zombies are almost redundant in TWD now. It's all about the survivor on survivor interaction isn't it, and how society organizes itself in the face of total breakdown. I do wish there would be more of that, rather than just fighting. I'm interested to see how each group has approached it in a different way - hiding (Alexandria), fighting (everyone else), growing stuff vs stealing stuff etc.

I wonder if we'll see more of the King and his Tiger in the next episode. I want to know how Carol is getting on.

Has anyone else read all the comics. I read them all between seasons 6 and 7 and it's changed a lot of my wider views.

Negan is great for me. Things needed to be shaken up. And knowing broadly what's coming (obviously they change a lot of things in the show) I'm really excited to see how things pan out and where they take it.

I havent read the comics yet. But I think Negans great. I love a baddie.

Marking place. I watched all the episodes from this series back to back yesterday. I have to say I am finding the relentless arseholishness of Negan and his crew really dull now. I don't find him menacing, more like a 12 year old school bully. I don't like co-operative Rick either, though I get why he is, obvs terrified of losing his children or more of his people. I imagine it will continue for the entire series with a "Will Rick kill him or not" cliffhanger in the last episode. I love TWD but I don't know if I can hang on in there for episode after episode of this.

Oh and I love Carol . He's probably my favourite character these days and I love how lanky and tall he is - like Lori was. It's good that it worked out like that as he grew up isn't it?

I'm marking my place. Can I shamelessly come on here occasionally to swoon about Daryl/Norman please? I have THE most ridiculous giddy crush on him at the moment, and frankly, I care not a jot if he washes any time soon.

Hello all, de-lurking to say I have mammoth watched it from the beginning in just over 2 weeks so DS1 can talk about it with me! I can't believe I've missed this utter gem of a show!! I'm absolutely obsessed and quite upset as some of you have mentioned that after having the luxury of watching as many episodes back to back, I've now got to wait a week in between each one!

It might just be me (being mum to 2 DS's and a DH who are all game-obsessed) that I am loving the return of Trevor Philips (from the GTA game fame) is playing Simon!!! (actor Steven Ogg)!

My ds(18) loves that Trevor is in it also.

He's even in the fabulous Westworld-didn't realise he had a muscular physique though .

I haven't entered the world of Westwood yet but heard nothing but fabulous reviews so may be a filler when TWD goes for a mid-season break

Must admit my parenting duties have somewhat taken a back seat, but DH often buggers off to the other side of gaming when a new one is out so I don't feel so bad, honestly the PS4 VR has completely taken over DH and DSX2 lives, I'm glad I can reign it in!

Aargh I'm watching ep4. Why oh why oh why doesn't Rick smash the ho ho ho pantomime villain over the nut and get all his people tooled up at the armoury??

I know, I know, Negan is going to be in it for a bit, god help us (he's dull), but Rick can't even use the excuse that Daryl is captive, he's out and about! If Rick killed Negan, Daryl would go for it.

This is so out of character, even after watching Abraham and Glenn die, I reckon our gang would take no prisoners.
