New series is back, have to say not much we happened. But jp has serious anger issues and good on ollie for standing up to him. Binky will no doubt go back to him, she has appalling taste in men.

Glad proudlocks back and bouillon next week

I don't think it's all faked at all. I don't believe there is that many amazing actors in Chelsea. I remember a fight between Louise and Spencer on Battersea Bridge and it was brutal. They had both just completely lost it and I do think they forgot the cameras were there. Agree that JP thinks he is totally in the right and that's why he is happy to play these arguments out on camera.

Remember this lot have done presentations and public speaking from an early age at expensive public schools. They can easily talk to each other under direction.
Also tv is hardly ever done in one take and obviously the cameras, lights etc have to be set up. So I would expect them to have to have a few attempts at any given conversation. Perhaps that's why Gay Pis so sweaty- we're seeing his fifth attempt at being " angry"?

My cousin actually worked as a camera man on one of these shows by the way. I'm not going to say which one but put it this way it's not as "refined" as MIC. He said it was an absolute nightmare, lots of drinking involved with the one he worked on. He said scenes would be set up but they reflected what was going on in their real life and he said they were so used to having cameras around that they'd forget they were there and just go in on each other once they started talking about conflict they were having. He's a producer now and says he will never work on those shows again - took years off him he said.

Can believe it. I met a girl who'd been asked. 6 times on the the show. She'd said no be because her career was doing alright so didn't need the ag. Spencer still owed her a couple of grand but she'd written that off for an easy life. So that's ok !

Many of the scenes are set up. But some of the relationships are real.

I wish Binky's relationships with Mytton and Frankenstein (his name escapes me for the mo) were fake and she hadn't wasted her life on them, but sadly I think not.

I find Jess almost unbearably annoying. Beyond getting dressed (and dying her hair) in the dark she's a very peculiar personality. Limp and stroppy at the same time.

I don't think Toff does herself any favours by allying herself with her.

Toff always reminds me of a Jilly Cooper heroine.

Am liking Liv and Julius. Boule has gone down in my estimation after mucking those two girls about (don't understand why Toff blames Liv for that rather than Boule). Baby Thor is just the person to get over Francis with, particularly as they are close friends.
