hot water crust pastry is tough - my fingers usually ache afterwards after raising it...

and so do Andrew's!!

I've done some raised pies and I have to say hot water crust pastry is dead easy! Always do a chicken/pork/apricot one at Christmas

No it totally leaked it the oven 😂

Luckily the grill tray was below and caught the lava. Obvs just a pie lid and bought puff. Can't do it the proper way!
