Missed the beginning - what was the brief apart from hot water pies?

it was macaroni cheese! She's going for the 'show lots of different techniques by doing different pastries and fillings' plan.

some of this pastry looks a bit soft. Oyster sauce is brilliant though with beef

Macaroni pies are a staple of Scottish bakeries. Especially for the 3am crowd. So I am told.

I just asked DH if he'd mind making me 16 moulds if I was doing bake off. He said he absolutely would and that Jane's DH must be an arse.

Andrew's molds are genius.

I would LOVE to taste these pies... I am such a pie person
