Bit fast there on the thread finishing chums! Last thread here

I think Ore will win it - he is the best dancer.

awaynboilyurheid · 09/10/2016 21:19

Yes should have been Naga or Anastasia , Tameka was a better dancer than both of them.

crje · 09/10/2016 21:23

I'm shocked but not disappointed.

DiegeticMuch · 09/10/2016 21:36

It's all about" personalities" at the outset. Melvin's fans (Kiss listeners, like my sons) probably aren't SCD fans on the whole. Tameka is irritating, people won't have warmed to her.

MrsJayy · 09/10/2016 21:42

Im a bit gutted i liked Tameka what a shame she was good fun now Laura will piss me off even more Angry. On a lighter note I loved Michael and Alfie and anton and Joanne are lovely ballroom dancers .

Floralnomad · 09/10/2016 21:54

One thing is for certain and that's that they need to improve the band / singers , the music for Laura's routine was so bad that it was distracting .

Queenbean · 09/10/2016 22:28

CaveMum I heard the same thing about Ola

2rebecca · 09/10/2016 22:28

For me it's about the most improved dancer. I don't want to see good dances in the early stages. I prefer them to be trying but a bit crap and get better, and be someone I recognise as a celebrity.

MargotLovedTom · 09/10/2016 22:34

Gorka looks like a young Kevin Kline.

I like Ed but I think his popularity will wane on the weeks when he has ballroom (apart from possibly tango and paso).

CeeBeeBee · 09/10/2016 22:39

I think Naga should have gone. Her performance was flat and it looks as if her heart is not in it.

I was disappointed with Louise's Flash dance as it's such a great track and her routine just seem to lack the energy and flare to go with it.

AvaCrowder · 09/10/2016 22:48

I thought Louise's dance was rubbish.

I liked Tameka, but I really don't think it's a racial thing. I think Oti will stay in with her ringer and Ore will stay in with his ringer. I wanted to like Naga more, I hope she has a good week next week.

I like them all. I want them all to win. They are my favourite people at the moment.

2kids2dogsnosense · 09/10/2016 23:30

Kimmyschmidt

I think your suggestion would have been much better.

MrsJayy · 10/10/2016 08:29

I think Naga was flustered with that stupid harness I hate elaborate tricks so thats why she looked so serious and her music was crap

Dotty342kids · 10/10/2016 09:02

I was really surprised by the bottom two. Tameka I just loved - her energy, humour and commitment to each dance. And even though Laura and Jo Varney leave me a bit cold, she can clearly dance - last week's waltz was beautiful.

Such a shame that Tameka went out, but last night's dance wasn't her best and if it's purely on that one performance, it was the right decision I think Sad

I thought Naga should have gone, personally. She doesn't really look as though she wants to be there and watching her dance is just... uncomfortable. I suspect the Pasha fan base is keeping them in!

SoupDragon · 10/10/2016 09:11

Judging by the opinions on this thread, Laura and Tameka are not popular contestants. I can see why Temeka might irritate with her larger than life personality but I don't quite understand Laura. That's why they were in the bottom 2. Last week, Tameka's Charleston was great so people would have voted, this week her dance was unimpressive.

FuzzyCustard · 10/10/2016 09:30

I could hardly see Tameka dance in that black outfit against a dark background. I reckon viewers votes as much for a pretty frock and a tune they can hum as much as anything else.

I thought Naga and Anastacia would have been the bottom two. How wrong can you be? (although Naga is beeeeoootiful!)

ElspethFlashman · 10/10/2016 09:35

Laura's personality is not remotely coming across, which is a problem. People forget she's alive, that's why she got no votes.

With Tameka it was the opposite - too much personality and hogging attention up on Claud 9. She was getting on my nerves already and it was only week 3. She acted like it was one big lark, rather than being really into the dancing.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 10/10/2016 09:50

Film week is probably the worst one to get rubbish music in - some fairly generic poppy bit from Moulin Rouge vs Singin' in the Rain and Mary Poppins is never going to do brilliantly.

myfavouritecolourispurple · 10/10/2016 10:20

I found Tameka irritating too and wasn't sorry to see her go. That said, after the dance-off I thought she and Laura had both danced about as well as each other and thought the judges would have a hard job, which they clearly did.

I thought I had read that the loser had leaked it on Twitter so had assumed it was Laura as Tameka is employed by the BBC and so I had assumed she would play by the rules and not leak things. Will she be in trouble for that? Did she leak the fact that she had left or were the rumours on Twitter and Digital Spy rubbish?

CocktailQueen · 10/10/2016 10:21

When was Lesley rude to Anton? I thought her dance was great - good footwork, acting, timing and energy!

I thought Naga should have gone yesterday. Not keen on Laura but she was better/has more potential than Taneka.

Floralnomad · 10/10/2016 11:11

I use strictly spoiler and the info comes from an audience mole apparently , he had it spot on .

bibliomania · 10/10/2016 11:33

Sad about Tameka - her dance this week wasn't great, but I loved her performance last week and I found her more interesting to watch than Laura. Laura is boring and harps (ha) on about being Irish as if it's a USP. I'm Irish too. It's not a thrilling and unique status.

I'd like to see Danny and Oti go far, mainly because I have a major girl crush on Oti.

I feel like I saw more of Louise and Laura's thighs than I necessarily wanted to.

Sunnymeg · 10/10/2016 11:33

I have a theory about Louise and her suddenly wearing a revealing outfit after weeks of sacks.

Her husband is being teased unmercifully on the TV programme League of their own about her appearing on SCD. I wonder if she has chosen to rein the costumes back until filming of that series has been completed,to spare him further embarrassment.

SoupDragon · 10/10/2016 11:38

I think Naga may have got the catsuit vote this week!

Inkanta · 10/10/2016 12:20

I liked Greg and Natalie's dance - but the strong emotion and tears from her afterwards was odd and made me nervous. I get nervous about imminent strictly curse when a celebrity is married with kids.

In the early shows I thought that the signs of a romance was kind of sweet and enhanced the dancing, but over the years you realize how devastating it can be for partners.

In particular I think of Abby Cohen (and 2 daughters) who was really was put through the wringer when Ben left her for Kristina.
