Is it just me or does Ed Balls have quite an "intense" gaze when he looks at Katya? And the arm constantly draped around her? Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's trying it on or anything, but he's a bit bleuugghh the way he's always looking at her/touching her etc. If I were her I'd feel all claustrophobic.

Yes, the ruffly thing and the too-short, saggy, hot pink jogging bottoms and dress shoes that didn't go with either the top or the joggers.

I'm also a tad disappointed that Katya doesn't have a lovely, exotic Russian accent and instead speaks with a mostly estuary accent with only a hint of Russian. It somehow doesn't match her elegant face. I like her dancing though and she's managed to get a lot more dance out of Ed Balls this week than I could have imagined.

The theme weeks are always a bit tenuous. Half the songs they use won't even be "film sings" (i.e. Specifically written for a film), but will just happen to have been used in a film.

I do hate theme weeks, I mean a Tango to "The Heat is On" FFS! Talk about shoe-horning a song to fit. There are plenty of films that have featured Tango scenes so why not use the music from those?!

Looking forward to Danny and Oti doing a paso though. It's one of my favourite dances anyway, and I am hoping that their acting will do it justice. Laughed to see Aljaz and Daisy are doing the Viennese Waltz after their - er - waltz in Week 1. He doesn't want to stray to far from their comfort zone at this stage, does he?!
