It's got better now I've got into it and they've gone somewhere they didn't have to cgi! The drunk bit was funny, but I suppose understandable as she been so hidden away and controlled all her life. The ads every 10 minutes are irritating but also allow me on here

Omg. There are several cathedrals than can impersonate Westminster abbey. The CGI and the crown were awful!!

She thought she was pregnant by Conroy, this is influenced by Flora's expanding girth and importantly Victoria's understandable dislike of Conroy and by association Flora

The CGI, costumes and jewels are awful. This is why I don't watch ITV - even when the story/acting isn't bad I find too many other things to fault.

It's like a Dr Who episode.

Very Dr Who in CGI style but easy enough viewing for a Sunday night and as DH is snoring beside me on the sofa I'm happy to have something to stop me suffocating him with a cushion

Same here pinker my dh's snoring is annoying me.

Yes I think the Netflix series 'The Crown's filmed at Ely Cathedral. The crowd scenes are terrible. Is Conroy the mothers husband? Who is Flora? I wanted this explaining. I don't really care about tallow candles!

The cgi is better on Doctor Who!

I googled all the way through, e.g. Who The Fuck Is Flora, but really liked it.

I think it's tomorrow because of the bank holiday, then once a week, but don't know if that's Sunday ( and risking clash with Poldark) or Mondays. I did enjoy it despite the cgi. I'll definitely watch the rest. I can't wait for Prince Albert to turn up. That actor is unbelievably attractive

I am no expert but Conroy was equerry to Victoria's father ( Duke of Kent) and became controller of the Kent household when VIctoria's father died. There were constant rumours that Conroy and the Duchess of Kent were lovers.

FLora was lady in waiting to VIctoria's mother and so Victoria associated her with the Kensington system and Conroy and hated her.

i must admit the young Victoria is very pretty,it's hard to imagine her as Victoria as im so use to seeing the older sturner looking Victoria that we all know
