LOL

nailpolish · 01/02/2007 12:26

or should that be LOLLIE

Marina · 01/02/2007 12:29

I think this is getting just a little sillie

PoppiesMum · 01/02/2007 12:29

She had a c-section didn't she...no savaged min-min there! I remember seeing her talking about him 'coming out through the sun-roof!'

expatinscotland · 01/02/2007 12:36

One of DH's pals, his partner delivered an 11lb., 12oz. boy vaginally.

OOOOOOoWWWWWww.

Their second son was 12lbs. even.

Now that's a savaged min min.

She's quite young, so maybe it doesn't do as much permanent damage as when you're an auld guffer like me.

She was only 22 when she had the first baby.

She did beg for, and get, an epidural.

But youch!

Imafairy · 01/02/2007 12:42

Definitely thought that guy looked like he'd be more "at home" in Brighton too.....and she was lovely and very glam I thought.

actually the specs he's wearing here aren't as vile as the ones he had on last night

LIZS · 01/02/2007 12:47

He had a list of criteria as long as your arm - land , outbuildings, open plan modern house, open views, ease of converting to carbon neutral , south facing for his solar panels, area for windturbines, own fresh running water supply ....all for under 550k in Devon. Then when it was a bit windy at one house it was too windy , "south facing" wasn't south facing enough, views of sheep weren't good views, gardens too garden-y... K practically lost all will to go on looking !

Sheraz · 01/02/2007 12:47

The guy was a tosspot! Didn't really seem to have that much eco knwledge. Just a pose. Makes me want t produce as much methane as I can in his very near vicinity!Wankweevil is teh most apropriate expression invented!

2shoes · 01/02/2007 12:53

he was also a sno. The comments he made about an area about brighton
still he got his. the flat he brought is not the best buy in the world.

dotcotton · 01/02/2007 12:57

I've just thought who else he remined me of - that teacher in southpark that used to say mmmnkay?

Re the "Brighton dwelling" debate we decided that he used to be a brighton dweller in his past (when he may or may not have dabbled in fetish clubs), now he's setled down with a nice glam/mother type.

Why on earth am i analysing him this much?

LittleBoSheep · 01/02/2007 13:12

I have SO got to see this when its repeated he sounds lovely.

AitchTwoOh · 01/02/2007 13:34

i bet the daughter hates him...

I am also loving 'wankweevil'. Like Catweazle only with extra wankiness and hideous creepiness.
Also love idea that she was his (goatee) beard. MN has been very funny of late, methinks.

frogs · 01/02/2007 14:06

Aloha, yes. Catweazle, that's who I kept thinking of.

How did you get to read my mind?

UnquietDad · 01/02/2007 14:07

I think maybe you can haggle on newbuild prices if you are Phil & Kirstie...don't know about us ordinary mortals. After all, they have plenty of time for someone to come along and offer the full price! It's not like they have to make a quick sale.

Aloha · 01/02/2007 14:09

Look into the eyes, frogs, not round the eyes...

You must be quite old like me (she says, brightening at the thought). I loved that programme. He was very eco himself, actually. But with a lot more charm.

frogs · 01/02/2007 14:18

No, I'm quite young. I was a precocious reader.

AitchTwoOh · 01/02/2007 14:49

my dh works in this area, unquietdad, you should haggle on everything. especially an off-plan. newbuilds need people in them to encourage others to buy. plus often developers work to tight margins in the beginning so they need your deposit in the short term. oh yes... always haggle.

2shoes · 01/02/2007 15:16

sorry aitch still beat you nah
dh works on that site

AitchTwoOh · 01/02/2007 15:19

exactly, so you'll know that they are always prepared to haggle a bit over price, 2shoes.
