Cold feet anyone?

Although I'm old enough to remember it first time round, I've just ploughed my way through all five series on sky box sets. I'd forgotten how good it was, I'm looking forward to watching the new series when it starts again in the autumn.

Adam's father in law finally mentioned his daughter's divorce!

The plots are rapid and a bit weak, but it's amusing.

I enjoyed the last episode more than I have the others, but it is a bit weak agreed. It had a last episode feel to it though, somehow, and I had to check. Two more episodes to go.

I just caught up with it tonight.
I want to be Karen when I grow up! Her seducing her new partner made me realise how rarely you see a scene like that with a woman taking control and it being shot from her perspective.

I thought it was a great episode & actually thought the scene where he considered suicide was well done. I have had thoughts like that previously & whilst I haven't gone on to play the drums, I have played with the kids & thanked God that I didn't go through with things.

I love it!

I was just wondering about the passport thing. What about people who don't have passports? Would they be able to prove they don't have one or would they just be thrown into prison? Also what about people who have two passports either because they have two nationalities or because they travel often (I've heard that people who travel often get a spare one to use when another one is stuck at an embassy waiting for a visa).

Who hasn't imagined that for a fleeting moment when they unexpectedly find themselves on top of a high thing?

The writers had established in that very scene that not everything we see onscreen is actually happening (he was imagining his family in the car - they were not there, nor was there a clone of him in the back seat).

Just caught up with this week's. Did they put any sort of warning out before it? My dh attempted suicide 2 yrs ago and I am feeling like I've been hit by a bus or something after that episode. Great show and great depiction, but hugely triggering for me Sad

It has always had a dark side, this programme, hadn't it?

Ah I thought this was the final episode.

Seemed like the loose ends were getting tied up.

I didn't particularly watch the earlier series - was busy with young DC back then - but am enjoying this current series.

I really don't want David and Karen to re-unite: she's far too good for him, and is fine single/dating.

Really liked the scene with the new business partner, and Adam's jaw dropping when she told him about the steamy encounter!

Ed called him his 'soon-to-be-ex-son-in-law' so not legally split yet.
I don't want Karen and David to get back together. I love them both like this.

Finally up to date on Cold Feet (was on holiday when it started). I live where it's filmed and love spotting all the locations.

Couple of observations:

I adore Karen. She's gorgeous. I want her figure, her wardrobe and her house.

Adam seemed to bin off his new wife remarkably easily?

Omg. Just seen this weeks and really thought pete had killed his self - have to say it did bRing back memories (never like seeing suicide ) as dh killed his self 😢

Then seeing his self look at his body and then phone rang

Programme should have had a warning about emotional scenes etc

Lovely to see PETE then reunite with his son and play the drums

David in prison was funny

Go karen and so funny when music went quiet and she shouted I want to break up with you

Bout time Adams marriage to his daughter was mentioned
