Thanks Runny But I can't help smiling at your description of DWTS being a bit tacky, that would make it VERY tacky for me because sometimes our Strictly can be a BIT tacky I love it though !

There's good tacky and bad tacky and DWTS is bad tacky IMO. They also play favourites with the pros, so Derek Hough and the Cherminovsky brothers always get good celebrities and the others get duffers. Poor Artem was one of the most popular pro's on Strictly, but he's never quite matched that success on DWTS.

Was watching old episodes of AbFab and thinking how irritating she is and that I hope it was deliberate that Edina had a washed up old has-been as a main client.

She was Fiderer, she was paired with Brendan, she made an idiot of herself when Tess announced who she was dancing with, starting running around and shouting, so he picked her up, threw her over his shoulder and ran up the stairs

Yes she was Fiderer - she danced with Brendan and they really didn't get on !

I've done a workshop with Neil and Katya, they were great fun so I do hope they're both dancing.

This cast looks pretty good I think, but the pros are still Latin-heavy. Oh well...

Strictly changed a few years ago when the producer of DWTS came to work on Strictly . They have a lot more theme weeks in the USA which is creeping in over here, and the rules are different (they seem to allow more lifts). Not always a change for the better, IMO (which counts for nothing, really )

I'm interested to hear that there is soon to a DWTS Ireland, and it looks as though Darren Bennet may be involved in it somewhere. But why not just called it Strictly Come Dancing :Ireland? I know that DWTS is what the international format is called, but Irish people will already be familiar with it as Strictly?

Georgia and Giovanni have split up makes me sad (even though I do not know them ) as they seemed such a perfect couple.

Looking forward to seeing who I go for once all the pairings are revealed. Took a couple of weeks to realise it was going to be Jay last year - the haircut made a big difference!

Wasn't sure about him at first but I really like Giovanni last year. Would be surprised if he gets any one as good as Georgia this time. Their 'Chicago' Charleston was one of the stand out performances.

I fear poor Lesley Joseph will be landed with Anton. Wonder if he's in the running for Len's slot next year?

It's not that surprising - it's very easy to go out with your dance partner, not so easy when you're not dancing.

Anton could easily be Chloe's dad!
