Just realised it's back!!!

Watching it on demand now to catch up - where's everyone from last year's thread!!?

Can't wait to discover who we've going to love to hate, and who we'll simply just hate, which couple will we like and who do we want to win!!!

I've been away, so catching up. Currently watching the miners house,

The stepsies are doing my head in. Trying too hard to be cray cray

The cops, I liked them the first round, but this round they are horrible. Hope they go.

Catty McCatterson, she needs a good slap, with a bag of seafood pasta.

DonkeyHotay · 11/08/2016 22:12

I quite like the cops. Their soup looked shite though. Carmine and Lauren are the pits. The only strategic voting came from them, they scored people zero to jeep themselves in. Although the cops talked at the dinner table, the ducks ducks's nuts scored way lower. Miners scored 10 for one couple whilst the rest were more average.

Didn't like the twist much.

DramaAlpaca · 11/08/2016 22:15

I'm a few episodes behind now as I've been so distracted watching wall-to-wall Olympics, so I've got my fingers in my ears and am trying not to read the recent posts Grin

I'll catch up over the weekend I hope. DS, who's 21, is getting really into it now too!

FoxesOnSocks · 11/08/2016 22:28

Can we talk about the twist? Or are too many catching up?

I know what I wanted it to be!!!

OP posts:
DramaAlpaca · 11/08/2016 22:30

Feel free to talk about it, I'll just ignore you all for a couple of days!

FoxesOnSocks · 11/08/2016 22:34

I don't mind waiting!!

OP posts:
ALemonyPea · 11/08/2016 23:24

I've caught up, I think. Was today's episode the last of the home kitchens? The twist was pretty naff, that's all I'm saying.

I do think Nev and Kell scored the miners pretty low. Nev looks like a shaved ewok.

FoxesOnSocks · 11/08/2016 23:31

Yes that was tonight's episode. Thought the twist was rubbish too

There was so much obvious tactical voting going on I think something should have been done about it.

There's going to be fun and games now Waspface is back in the limelight.

I find my self being unreasonable irritated by any 'who doesn't love ...' statements

Don't know why!!!

Just there are plenty of people who don't like prawns / Thai / cake / whatever.

OP posts:
ALemonyPea · 12/08/2016 21:44

I hate 'that's [insert name] on a plate'

No it's not you on a plate, you'd never fit for a start.

FoxesOnSocks · 12/08/2016 22:23

Yes that's annoying too

Hair Siblings are my favourite I think.

OP posts:
ellenanora5 · 12/08/2016 23:34

Oh god yes it irritates me beyond belief when someone says "everyone loves prawns/curry/spice, no they bloody don't, "everyone loves asian" no they don't.

And why do they never consider anyone else taste," I love a nice hot spicy whatever, I'll put as much chilli as I possibly can in this, because I love it"

Carmine and Lauren are just out for themselves, they are not team players at all, and I bet they were disgusted they ended up on the black team, it was so obvious no one wanted them on their team at the beginning.

DonkeyHotay · 13/08/2016 07:25

The battlers did nothing themselves so C+L will be gunning for them. I'm glad their team didn't win.

How does Moroccan food fit in an Asian theme? Like the sisters though.

FoxesOnSocks · 13/08/2016 07:37

The sisters were doing mediterranean food I think - though I wouldn't have thought of Morocco as mediterranean cuisine; just looked it up though and it seems it is (or at the very least a mixture)

OP posts:
DonkeyHotay · 13/08/2016 07:54

You're right I had them on the wrong side. I was finding it hard to place a tagine between the two, Mediterranean is a better fit.

DonkeyHotay · 13/08/2016 07:58

Moroccan food is (North) African. Must be Eurovision rules. In any case, it was a great dish and amazing in the time.

FoxesOnSocks · 13/08/2016 08:41

Yes. It's definitely in with a technicality - there's a good bit of Moroccan coast on the Med but wouldn't be the first thing you think of as Mediterranean food is it!!

Mind you I've just realised in my own head I'd thought of it as Middle Eastern food (despite knowing where Morocco is and what the Middle East is).

I'll get my coat ...

OP posts:
DonkeyHotay · 13/08/2016 09:45

I get the Middle Eastern vibe. A quick Google says that Morocco and Spain are 9 miles or a thirty min ferry trip. I knew it was close but not that close.

ALemonyPea · 14/08/2016 16:32

Glad the hair sibs got immunity. Their curry looked lovely.

ellenanora5 · 16/08/2016 16:19

Anyone see lasts nights episode Grin

DonkeyHotay · 16/08/2016 21:36

I'm up to date. That's two deluded people.

ellenanora5 · 17/08/2016 17:26

Deluded...your are so right DonkeyHotay, that's exaclty the word I was looking for and they are nasty nasty people.

DonkeyHotay · 18/08/2016 20:44

Feck. Referee!

FoxesOnSocks · 19/08/2016 09:45

Been away all week with no TV or Internet (the horror!!)

I think i need to binge watch today - especially after reading Donkey's comment.

OP posts:
FoxesOnSocks · 19/08/2016 16:45

Noooooooooooo to the two couples that have been knocked out!!! (I'm up to (Wednesday's episode). I liked them and don't like the couples that stayed instead of them.
