Thought I'd open up in anticipation as I have Fat Club tonight so may miss the very start.

I was going to suggest a drinking game. Take a swig every time Greg(g) gurns to camera but we would all be pissed in the first 3 minutes.

The hormones are running high on this thread tonight!

Usually it's just me getting hot and bothered over moody Marcus.

SlinkyVagabond · 14/07/2016 21:02

And bingo to Squoosh. (Me and ds reckon after his parting shot he opens a restaurant)

squoosh · 14/07/2016 21:04

You can tell he's a bit of a numptie. He talks as though he's hosting a lunch time quiz show.

ellenanora5 · 14/07/2016 21:06

Oh yes Marcus, not my cup of tea but I understand completely squoosh, wonder will he make an appearance, I hope he does, you deserve a little treat Grin

Right choice I believe, thanks for the giggles everyone, I'm off to criticise the crap out of my kitchen rules now Smile

Did anyone else notice when Gleb was cutting up the "Russian sausage" for his Russian salad that it looked EXACTLY like Spam?

HemanOrSheRa · 14/07/2016 21:36

I had Russian Salad from a tin in the 70's Hearts. I'm pretty sure it didn't have meat product in it Grin. I have also had Russian Salad at (P)Rick Steins bistro. It was DELICIOUS! It had smoked sausage (or spam) and cornichons along with the other bits.

squoosh · 14/07/2016 21:38

Tinned salad! The 70s was a strange old time wasn't it?

ellenanora5 · 14/07/2016 22:11

Heinz tinned potato salad, just remembered that Grin

Yep I thought it was spam hearts, looked exactly like it.

Davros · 14/07/2016 22:49

I've got a Russian friend who makes Russian salad. No soft sausage in it and no fecking around with spring onions etc. I wonder if it's favoured on the traditional Jewish menu as DH's sisters say it was his favourite when he was young. I think there's a version called Israeli salad.
I remember the Heinz tinned one and the potato salad from the 70s. Not sure I ate it though, too busy with Angel Delight and Toast Toppers Grin

HemanOrSheRa · 14/07/2016 22:55

Ooh yes Davros tinned potato salad! It was very tart as I recall Confused.

And toast toppers. Mmmmmmmmm.

The 70's were a strange time indeed squoosh!

ellenanora5 · 15/07/2016 20:31

JuneFromBethesda · 15/07/2016 20:37

I'm here, but I'm halfway through an episode of The Killing on Netflix, so may drift off if the non-entities celebs start to bore me ...

HalsallRedux · 15/07/2016 20:38

Gleb is going to come monumentally unstuck now he can't make up his Russian tradition bollox methinks

ellenanora5 · 15/07/2016 20:39
