lj - Jade cant see it - she has been around her mum all her life and although she knows what her mum is like she does not truly understand what it is like for others who have only just met her. It was obvious that Jade both loved her mum and was embarassed by her mum at the same time. Her mum used to be a 'clipper' say it all - acceptable is a relative concept. I dont think jakiey is really all their, the only thing that I can liken it to and this is mean with no disprect to those with special needs. when they people talk about people with aspergers having difficulty reading people. I think jakiey is like that. Jade I think whilst she play on her 'thickness' has a massive chip on her shoulder. she has had a taste of something better ( a wider world) but it is a curse as much as a blessing. the more jade is exposed to the more she probably understands when she feels out of her depth and the the fight or flight mentality kicks in. Its just like watch asbo teen to beauty queen. she is all front.
Aitch I did see the stock cube and you know what I saw - someone trying to project their own insecurity - it comes back to jades insecurity and what happeded to her mum. It was a childish petty incident. danielle on the other had doesnt ever say much - is happy to take shilpa spot cream but just sits stoking the fire in jade. she doesnt have to do anything just feed jade the signs that jade in in the right. the is an out and out agitator. think grace in the last big brother. jade is a big kid , there are social skills that she has never learned and without a psychologist and a mentor I doubt she ever will.

Quite frankly BB should have stepped in ages ago, instead of allowing things to get so ridiculously out of hand......I mean, lordy, they are burning effigies of englands fifth(or was it twentyfifth) most influential person in neverland no less......

my typing after 10 weeks of sick kids is not good. my a level english teacher would have a fit.

are there any pschologist on mn? would be insteresting to get a couple of different take on the individual from them. I know it wouldnt be a full picture but interesting all the same.

i really, really think that jade's track record with bullying sophie in bb3 and rik waller in back to reality gives her form in the book. that said, i take your point about her mum.

magicfarawaytree, i read your post about likening jackiey to a person with Aspegers Syndrome and i couldnt not post.

I understand that you might mean that people with AS have difficulty reading people but to put jackiey in the same context as a person with AS is wrong, a person with AS usually goes out of their way not to be nasty and to try and blend in as much as they can with others,they may have difficulty reading people but can, given time work out a situation, most people with AS want to fit in with other people and would be horrified to think that they would be like jackiey who was a nasty piece of work.

I thought grace was funny. posh totty with nails of steel. didnt see back to reality - but rick waller was a nasty peice of work in celebrity fat camp - he could be arsed and then either got sacked or walked - I cant remember which. but yes remember sophie - but I though she was a bit manipulative if I am honest. I thought jade couldnt tell whether she was or not and that was why she kept on at her. again insecurity override causing a ridiculous behaviour.

you might be more accurate to say that she's knackered her social antennae after years of drug and alcohol abuse. she's not quite right, that's for sure... (can you tell i'm not a psychologist?) i reckoned it was abusive to have her there, tbh.

rik is 30 stone of solid twunt, but jade really did take great delight in humiliating him. there was a panto thing she did as well where she was also horrible.
i don't disagree that insecurity is fuelling her behaviour, but that's the same for most bullies isn't it?

jenk1 - the whole point of the aspergers reference was because a person with aspergers may have trouble reading those around them. as opposed to someone who cant be bothered and just does what they want. I dont believe that I implied that people with aspergers had any of the other 'qualities' that jackie may have. I wasnt slagging jackie off with that comment so I think it is a bit of a leap to suggest that I am trying to slag of those with aspergers.

magicfarawaytree I think Jenk1 was trying to describe what a person with Aspergers syndrome is like and that Jackie (in Jenk1's view), probably didn't that particular condition. Her post didn't sound like it was trying to get at you in any way......
