There is definately a Nanny with each couple at all times....day and night, they are never left completely alone.
And definately different children of different agegroups.
Don't know about the "kicking Buggy over" incident, have not seen all the trailers, tbh, but was under the impression it was one of those "to many bags on the handle thing", but could well be wrong...I just got that from a conversation of some thread on some forum, lol.
Just watched the Friends and Family show, and thought that was quite good.

nappyaddict · 09/01/2007 21:44

tbh i think most children say 4+ would be fine with it. under this age i'm not sure how they'd cope cos i don't know if they would really understand what was going on ..

TrinityRhino · 09/01/2007 21:49

only 50 mins till its on, I must admit I am glued

Also though I would never be able to hand my baby over to them, I know they are being watched at all times but still, I just don't think I could do it

did you see the girl who knocked over the pram, before that she was shouting "it's not my baby"

nappyaddict · 09/01/2007 22:04

i thought it fell cos there were bags on it? i thought it was a bit immature shouting she's not my baby at everyone! what i don't get is if there ar nannys with them, why on earth that child was let to go all day without food!

TrinityRhino · 09/01/2007 22:06

yes nappyaddicit, I didn't think she did the pram thing on purpose but the imaturity and was horrid and I don't think i could cope with giving them my child

missusincognito · 09/01/2007 22:24

I believe the child was 10 year old, wasn't he....now I wonder, I have a child around that age, and sometimes he will refuse to eat...other times he will eat me out of house and home....maybe it was one of those situations...also, tbh, a 10 year old would be old enough to ask for food....I suppose all will become clear once they show that episode.

Pinkchampagne · 09/01/2007 22:28

Going to pour myself a drink & get ready to watch this now. I'm glued too!

The babies certainly proved to be rather a challange for the teens, didn't they?!

I was glued to the set! Interesting to see the boys bonding with the babies more than the girls. Alex, in particular did really well, although perhaps he did a bit too much, and didn't give Sam much of a chance to have a go. Not that she wanted to though, what a spoilt stroppy little madam. Harrison and Ioan - what super cute little boys! Aloha's (name right? ) Mum is lovely, really sensible and level headed. I feel sorry for Ava, but she needs to ditch that chauvanist pig. She's a lovely girl and deserves better. Fisnick is very much like my Stepdad, and my Mum's had a dog's life with him. I hate those jeans that Alex wears, they're ridiculous!

Pinkchampagne · 09/01/2007 23:33

Agree that it seemed the boys coped much better than the girls. Alex was particulary good, but his girlfriend didn't react well to not being number one at all!
Agree that Ava needs rid of Fisnick - didn't like his attitude at all.

Which baby has been removed? Did I miss that bit?

OP posts:
MummyPenguin · 09/01/2007 23:44

Fisnick and Ava's! The parents were worried about the constant arguing around the baby, and that the couple were so unpredictable, and kept leaving the house.

nappyaddict · 10/01/2007 00:05

i did feel sorry for alex when sam kept walking out but its better to walk out though than to argue in front of the baby surely. if i was him i wouldn't have gone after her i would have just waited for her to come back in her own time. i don't think she should have left him with the baby all day though. alex has done everything, because she wasn't there, she can't moan about it now! i can understand how some people feel left out, normally dads do when a baby first comes along esp if the mums bfing cos the dad cant physically comfort their child, but they need to make time for each parent to bond with the baby. if she is gonna walk out all the time then it's her own fault that hasn't happened. it was a shame when he took over and she has finally gone up to him when he was crying though, but i think he is just too nice!

i can't believe ava left the child either! i did feel really sorry for her though. her bf is a twat. they did argue over stupid things though i mean does it matter where he stands in the supermarket?

and although raeisa was being a bit immature in the supermarket i did feel sorry for her. i can see how easy it would be to become that stressed out with her bf acting like he is.
