I can't see a thread yet, anyone else as a ridiculously excited as me after seeing the teaser trailer.

I reckon Tommy's married May. Or at least I hope so, 'cos I couldn't stand Grace.

You are very welcome! There is something missing though... Linda (Arthur's wife) negotiated £41k for his third share of the Russian deal. She said this was 1/3rd of the net profit after Tommy's expenses. (Maybe she even said 1/4...)
So, the money due must be something like £150,000 and the £70k is only part of it but I can't remember where the rest is supposed to come from.

I think the difference is because the £150k is Tommy's estimate from the robbery plan, rather than the £70k the Russians offered as a fee?

The figure of £150k and discussions with Linda came after Tommy told his brothers about the robbery plan after the 'wake' for their father held in the woods after shooting the deer.

Yes the £70k is what the russians are paying tommy for the vehicles but the russians are going to renege on that deal so tommy is going to rob their treasury and take £150k worth. Linda knows this plan as arthur tells her everything. (Or he did at least)

I thought the sour face Mary the house keeper pulled when Tommy told her how he wasn't taking his 'medicine' anymore sort of indicated that she was the mole like we suspected. Because the morphine was keeping him out of action longer than the head injury itself.

Alfie had Arthur arrested and sent to jail. I can't remember exactly why though.

Alfie used the annual passover celebration meal to kill a top " peaky blinder's " soldier. He also caused Arthur to be beaten up badly, and framed for killing one of his own men. It put me off this Alfie character. Me don't likee him.

I just found out that Netflix US got the entire 3rd series last week and if you look on Reddit they are debating whether the ending was good or not.

I've managed to exercise some self control and not look.

What I am getting from my googling though is that the reviews of series 3 say its lost its way a bit - suffering from Godfather 3 syndrome (whatever that is).

One thing that's been bothering me. Wasn't Michael brought up somewhere else other than Birmingham? If so why does he have a Brummie accent?

Yep alfie solomons was the mole, he knew he could sell the faberge egg so he told the man who would buy it of the plan who was presumably involved with the priest and passed on all this info so they could use it to their advantage.

What an ending indeed. However, i am confused. Did tommy grass up arthur, john and polly so he could use them to offer the evidence against the other side? Or were the police already coming for them?
