Think might have to have a second watch of that to understand exactly what's going on. So the Russian guy was an infiltrator cos he gave the wrong name? Who was the other guy that came to Polly's room with the champagne? Wasn't watching properly but was there a bit where he said a name to Polly which made me think that he is the contact and not the Russian?

There's something a bit amiss about Arthur's girlfriend too.

Agree it would be very dull episode if you hadnt see the first two seasons for context. Everything that was said had a backstory.

Was it just me or was Poll's accent very posh in some parts of that episode?

John is married to a traveller lady, yes. The youngest brother, Finn, isn't married.

Ahh maybe not arthur's wife just a girlfriend. I misunderstood his speech to mean she was his wife (his good woman) as grace is now tommy's "good woman" now she has married him.

Which brother was giving the london girl the good time? Was that john or finn?

So my thoughts -

• When did Michael get so sexy?!
• Argh the Russians thing looks scary. Who else thinks Tommy will end up in bed with the Russian duchess?! Definitely sexual tension there.
• Poor Arthur. I just want to give him a big cuddle!

I think I will watch it again tomorrow, the bit with the double crossing Russian and the guy who went to Polly's room was confusing.

I have always felt sorry for Arthur. He is ridiculed and never lives up to expectations and has his younger more intelligent brother ruling the roost.

Don't really understand the Russian thing but obviously something that Tommy cannot refuse to do seeing as Churchill pulling the strings and he had to agree to after not getting killed in last series.

It seems to me that arthur is a "tool" that tommy uses. The rest of them all do business stuff but arthur only gets let off his leash when there is some very dirty work to do. And he knows it. His absolute animal aggression is the only reason tommy has him around i think.
