I can't see a thread yet, anyone else as a ridiculously excited as me after seeing the teaser trailer.

I reckon Tommy's married May. Or at least I hope so, 'cos I couldn't stand Grace.

Same actor playing michael, definitely sexier. Is it the new hair? Grin

Rollergirl1 · 05/05/2016 23:16

I thought it was really sad the way in which Tommy reacted to and interrupted Arthur's speech. He wasn't going to say anything bad and it was really heartfelt and took a lot of courage for him to stand up and talk.

I agree that Tommy uses Arthur like a puppet. He gave him the drink earlier when Arthur has obviously been tee-total for a bit. But he wants to be able to manipulate him and use him for what he needs.

MarthaCliffYouCunt · 05/05/2016 23:18

Yes he knew he would need the drink in him to agree to killing the russian guy.

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 06/05/2016 06:12

Why was grace wearing a blue dress and veil? Is she divorced? And how come she has so many posh family members?

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 06/05/2016 06:38

Are Tom hardy and may Carlton together in real life? How lovely. They were Cathy and heathcliff in wuthering heights a while back

quirkychick · 06/05/2016 07:13

Oh, Tommy is such a naughty boy Grin.

I thought Tommy told Arthur that Grace 's first husband killed himself but her family believe that he just died and Tommy thought Arthur might let the cat out the bag about that. I assume Grace wasn't in white as she had been married before.

I think the Russians will go for Tommy 's family, I'm sure he said that's how they operate. He now has a wife and child... Poll definitely fancied the other guy but had lots of cash on her and a gun, so it wasn't a great moment, I think. What is Tommy going to gamble all that cash on?

charliedontsurf · 06/05/2016 07:22

JonSnows Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley are married and have a new baby. They met on the set of Wuthering Heights not a Tom Hardy stalker

I was really disappointed in Tommy last night. He's more cold and ruthless than I remember.

I quite liked Grace's dress and hair.

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 06/05/2016 07:25

Ahh that's lovely!
I don't think Tommy had a choice in the Russian thing did he?
Also, assume Tommy offed grace's husband? And grace doesn't know? Or is that a step too far?

Thurlow · 06/05/2016 09:37

Ah, that was good! Welcome back, boys.

Michael - definitely going to stab Tommy in the back at some point, being the non-criminal public face will probably give him an inflated ego.

Tommy's definitely going to end up in bed with the Duchess, I don't think he's quite as in love with Grace now as he thought he was am still annoyed he married her, though it made sense Loved that scene in the mirror with Polly and Grace though.

Poor, poor, poor Arthur Sad

Didn't Polly say that Tommy is planning a robbery? Or is that a robbery to get the guns to give to the Russians?

I didn't have a clue what was going on but I loved the wedding, costumes, acting, grittiness a and attention to period detail. A really sophisticated bit of telly . Hopefully I will be able to unravel all the storylines going on.

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/05/2016 14:09

Dammit, I went out last night and missed it.

Marking place to read this thread after I catch up later Smile

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/05/2016 14:16

Oh bollox, now I just saw on FB who ge married

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/05/2016 21:24

Finally caught up, man I LOVEbthis show.

I'm agree with Poll when it comes to Grace. She was dumb in the first series and she's still dumb if she believes that Tommy will keep her safe. He's the bloody danger idiot woman.

That massive wedding table seemed so far removed from the Shelbys I love - I was so glad when they went back to South Heath.

Arthur is my favourite character by far - complex and seriously well acted in my humble opinion. Though I'm quite fond of Lizzy too.

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 07/05/2016 21:29

Arthur is just fantastic. Lizzy is wonderful and I absolutely love Helen mcrory in anything but her polly is fantastic. Tommy shelby is obviously a fantastic character. I just love this program.

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 07/05/2016 21:30

I fucking hate Grace though. Her accent irritates me. Is it real?

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/05/2016 21:34

I just googled and it says she was born in Oxfird, grew up in Portugal...so I guess that it's not her own accent Wink

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 07/05/2016 21:49

Ok! I'm allowed to find it annoying then. It doesn't sound natural. I was worried that someone was going to say they were from X place in Ireland and it's a typical regional accent!

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 08/05/2016 17:32

I can't believe I forgot Ada in the family too. Ada is the only daughter, she married a communist who died of tuberculosis.

JonSnowsBeardClippings · 09/05/2016 06:34

Posted that ^ on the wrong peaky blinders thread

CeciliaMiddleton · 10/05/2016 12:20

So so in love - a great way to get teenagers into Shakespeare too www.culturewhisper.com/r/article/peaky_blinders_series_3_episode_1_review/7003
