Firstly Jill has really not dealt with the whole Josh situation and I don't blame her given the 'counselling' she received

Secondly -what happened to Derrick's face?

OP posts:

God knows. But Derick has short hair again now; Jill cut it for him.
It's much better to follow the Duggars on somewhere like Free Jinger or their Facebook page or some other kind of social media; the show is so behind and they likely fudge timelines a bit too.

MyDrainpipe · 02/10/2017 22:08

Did I miss an episode with Joys engagement? They're talking about wedding planning.

MyDrainpipe · 02/10/2017 22:15

TLC have missed out 3episodes! The last one they aired last week was "a boy or a girl for Jill", and we've gone straight to the new episode of the next season missing out Joys engagement and 2 studio episodes. Damn you TLC

MyDrainpipe · 03/10/2017 00:00

Why were Jess's knees blurred in the plane and is she blanket training spurgeon?!
I'm guessing Derek had to cut his hair when back at the Duggar compound.

cushioncovers · 03/10/2017 07:56

They dont show knees. Hence the long skirts that they usually wear.

ChoudeBruxelles · 03/10/2017 09:12

They seemed (jinger, Jessa, Jeremy and Ben) to behave quite normally on last nights tlc episode. I liked Jeremy’s response to being questioned about starting a family.

FlyFlyAway · 03/10/2017 18:07

I want Jessa and Ben to move to near Jinger so they can live their own lives. I like that Jinger and Jeremy are spending time as a couple before starting a family. Not like poor Joy.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 03/10/2017 19:44

They've missed out some episodesConfused

The episode I saw didn't have any blurred out knees Grin

Textpectation · 03/10/2017 20:24

I thought it had jumped a bit. Where are the missing episodes shown?

I thought Jeremy was really good with Spurge and Henry.

I missed what he said about starting a family, can anyone help?

What's blanket training?

toffee1000 · 03/10/2017 20:32

Here's the Wikipedia page on blanket training. It's pretty horrifying. I think some people have adapted it so they don't use physical punishment, just tell the child to stay on the blanket.

ChoudeBruxelles · 03/10/2017 21:02

Jeremy basically said they were enjoying spending time together but would like to start a family one day

cushioncovers · 03/10/2017 21:10

Wondered why my series looked no didn't record it and then realised that they have changed the name of the show from Jill and jessa counting on to just 'counting on'

Thanks Flowers

Blanket training ShockAngry punishing babies and toddlers when they move off a blanket?!

Christmastree43 · 03/10/2017 22:13

www.rawstory.com/2015/05/heres-how-the-duggars-patriarchal-homeschool-world-teaches-kids-to-shame-sex-abuse-victims/

Old article but so so shocking and a good reminder of what’s behind the duggar’s ‘fun and crazy’ exterior. The turmoil those poor girls must go through every day Sad

FlyFlyAway · 03/10/2017 23:24

We've missed 3 episodes thanks TLC! The engagement episode and the studio ones.
Jessa's knees were blurred in one shot on the plane but then it the second. I love Junger wearing trousers and being alllwed to have a normal life

FlyFlyAway · 03/10/2017 23:24

Junger? Jinger!

Hmmalittlefishy · 05/10/2017 19:48

I thought they may be blanket training on the plane. Jessa looked quite firm when Spurgeon started to move forward and then it was quickly edited.
I wonder if Spurgeon will be jealous of Henry's more mainstream name!!
Everytime I see them with the baby in loads of covers in the parents bed or mostly left on the sofa I'm screaming at the tv 'move the baby'! Accident waiting to happen

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 05/10/2017 20:14

I think she just didn't want him crawling off round the plane.

Hmmalittlefishy · 05/10/2017 21:06

Perhaps.
I wonder how many of the children will follow JB & M style of parenting etc
It was interesting last week (possibly) when they talked about the 'buddy teams' and how the older one was almost responsible for a whole group of younger siblings even when out and about but that it did make them close.
It must be hard to have a close sibling relationship with 18 others!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 05/10/2017 21:12

I'm sure she'll blanket train, just not on camera.

Textpectation · 07/10/2017 21:10

S2 ep21 was gender reveal
One of the skipped shows, S2 EP 23 is a look back and thats on at 7pm before Series 3 EP 2 the new one.

Series 2 EP 22 is MIA.

FlyFlyAway · 07/10/2017 23:11

Yes I saw they'd added it in the last day.
s2, 22 is Joys engagement, why miss that out? I wonder if we'll get 24 as well?

sukitea · 08/10/2017 07:51

I built Ben is employed by JB doing odd jobs such as grass cutting, cleaning etc. I had hope for Derrick as he had a college degree but he seems happy enough to jump on the Duggar gravy train. Several weeks ago he put up a crowd funding page for himself (!!!) and got 2 donations and a lot of hate so removed it. Jeremy IMHO is the one to watch out for. Ben and Derrick are happy to be sheep in JB's flock but I reckon he has plans to overthrow JB. He put up memes within days of marriage that ridiculed some of his house rules.

There was speculation that Jill had a hysterectomy after Samuel's birth. Something major happened as the Duggar's didn't do their usual birth announcement and there was no People coverage either.

Hmmalittlefishy · 08/10/2017 08:00

That would be so sad if true about jill. She seemed upset enough that jessa was pregnant much quicker and easier than her with Henry.
Jeremy seems much more fun
