It is just getting more and more bizarre! How many more episodes are there?

I'm finding it very depressing viewing, more so than other crime dramas.

Confused as usual. Even recap didn't help that much today :(

Why didn't guy keep a better eye on cullen?

The problem is the number of characters they keep introducing. It's hard to keep track of, or care about any of these people. It's clever really- probably captures some of the intensity and confusion of a real investigation, but it's exhausting to watch!

I also think that Marcella taking her husband to see Grace's body was a bit of a stretch to be honest

Although it's confusing as hell, I'm actually really enjoying this. Was in bed at 9 last night all ready to watch it on the laptop! That's the only way I avoid MNing whilst watching and getting more confused.

How did posh older blonde lady know it was whatsit who was her daughters boyfriend? Do you think she was testing him?

Quite impressed with Anna Friel's acting. It particularly stands out amongst her work colleagues, who seem very wooden and unemotional. They lack any warmth or sympathy to the point of down right hostility. Why so unfriendly? It's not like Vera detective series where everyone is friendly and normal.

The Downton Abbey actress is good as well.

Admittedly I am irritated with the hooded coat. It's too bulky.

Lady Edith is very thin.

I love Anna Friel. I watch anything with her in. Probably because I used to watch her in Brookside .

Rosie i think we may discover that jason decided the dcs should go to boarding school because of marcella's blackouts/ violent episodes. Dd seemed very distrustful/wary when being told of the split - asking marcella what she'd done to make jason leave. Have they witnessed violent episodes in the past, i wonder.

So, that other policeman gave marcella the recording of the interview - ensuring she found out the affair had gone on for 3 yrs. anyone suspect his motives not that good?

I find it too confusing. Agree all the blokes with similar hair style and stubble look too similar. I'm not even sure which one had the stab wound when he was looking at himself in the mirror.

I've also started to think I hadn't ought to watch it before bed. Last night I dreamt I'd met Graces Mum in a really nasty pub/club in Wales. She'd got Marcellas children with her and she begged me to take her home as the sea was coming in. So I set off to drive her home and she lived in Chadsmoor (which is well rough :o) so I dropped them there. I carried on driving hone because I lived in a very posh village in Berkshire

I thought about the 'pick me dance' at first, but I think it could possibly have been a control thing. Marcella knew that the OW was dead so in her head perhaps she thought she had 'won'? Then, when the H turned up near the end, she knew it had been going on for 3 years and that the OW was PG so it changed her view?

I am enjoying it but I hate the wait between episodes, netflix has spoiled things!
