"It was the perfect ending except I'd have liked Bhupi to be better off. Like the Soods giving him a share of Chotipool or something."

But Bhupi murdered Jaya & Ramu was hanged for it-I don't think that Bhupi should profit from that!

ParadiseCity · 16/05/2016 14:45

Oh yes, I forgot about Bhupi being the murderer. Well I like him apart from that Blush

I didn't quite get the end.

Cynthia was seen bidding on the house but the Soods got it.

She also said something about them owning(?) the club?

So how did they swap deeds?

And if the house was hers, why would Ralph stay there??

situatedknowledge · 16/05/2016 18:45

Fabulous ending. It would be a pity if there weren't any more episodes. But at least it ended on a more positive note.

RaeSkywalker · 16/05/2016 19:03

diddl I guess she bargained with them and said if they gave her the house, she would give them the club. Then they swapped the deeds and announced the new owners to everyone:

Ralph will presumably stay in the house because he has no money and nowhere else to go!

diddl · 16/05/2016 19:07

Tbh I was pissed off that she got the house-she didn't deserve it.

She was such a bitch to Ramu Sood.

Pooseyfrumpture · 16/05/2016 19:14

Ralph gets to stay in the house with Bhupi and his new mum Cynthia. Not sure what he's going to do for a job but I assume he sold the house for so much that he's paid off his debts.

Nice end to Charlie Grin

MaybeDoctor · 16/05/2016 20:59

I found it a good episode but all very puzzling.

Why was it that Jontypool got sold so quickly? Ralph's debts seemed to mount up very swiftly - surely it would take a while for a bank to foreclose. And hadn't the house been in the family for generations anyway - surely it would be paid off.

Why did Alice and Arafin meet at the hideaway room again? Wouldn't he be welcomed to the house after saving her life. And surely she would be lying down on a bed in hysterics after that terrifying experience, not turning up to a wedding in her best lemon jacket.

Was the body of the truly horrible Mr Haverstock just left lying by the roadside?

Finally, why is it that no one gets pregnant in Indian Summers? Alice and Arafin have been bonking on a regular basis, but not a pregnancy scare. Yet Sarah and Douglas had sex once several years go = baby.

I actually thought that Aafrin would leave her if he discovered that she had deliberately locked Charlie out of the car.
