Is anyone watching this? I'm so scared for the horrid pregnant lady!! Argh

Ralph was the baby in the picture,apparently.

It didn't look a bit like Cynthia in the photo.

Perhaps she didn't age well? I'm trying to think why she would be pushing Ralph on so much when he's supposedly the product of an affair of her nasty husband's. And why, after having been such a cow to Alice she suddenly started being nice to her when she realised what an arse her husband was.

Cynthia isn't Ralph's mum though, where have people got that from? Her dead husband was Ralph's father.

Who's watching tonight? I'm no less confused than usual but on the edge of my seat.

Had a feeling the missionary was going to go tonight when we heard him having that happy conversation about being a real family......That ending was so tense.

Whose son was the wee suicide bomber boy? I didn't get what had happened to his parents

The boy was Adam - Ralph Whelan's son, but the missionary was looking after him and going to find him another home since he (the missionary) was going back to England.

I think he was one of the last remaining orphans, and don't think we know where he came from originally.

He was not Adam, who is a couple of years older and looks quite different.

Ah, OK, but one of the orphans then.

The orphan boy said his name was Chattu Matthew and then Ashkya (sp) when Bannerjee asked him. So yes I think a 'generic' orphan rather than one with a link to anyone else particularly.

I didn't get where that handy orphan popped up from but definitely not Adam. I don't like Aafrin, I don't understand his position in all of this, that could be my fault though for not paying enough attention.

And it did seem a bit unlikely that such a young child would have been left completely alone for the whole afternoon.

Clawdy if you start pointing out things that are unlikely there will be nothing left to watch!

I wondered if the little boy (hardly a suicide bomber!) was the son of the girl who Naresh(?) shot?

He was an unknowing suicide bomber. It was expected he would die delivering his bomb. He wasn't planning to plant it then run

I thought the orphan boy was a beautiful looking child. And I suspect he was an unwitting suicide bomber.

I don't think it would be suicide if you didn't know you were going to die. How could it be? Anyway glad he survived!

Well who knows. He'll probably turn out to be Bannerjees long lost cousin by series 3.

I'm trying to work out who is going to do away with Ralph first. My money is on Bhupy
