Is it just me or is Morven THE most annoying character ever?!

Oh my god I finally got caught up last night. Very glad DP's away as it was really not a pretty sight! I can't remember the last time I cried like that, I was full on howling! So gutted they killed off Diggers, he was one of my favourites. I absolutely loved his relationship with hanssen.

Totally agree that jac's trying to stop zoshia (?) turning into her!

Why did they kill him off?? I don't get it!

I think they thought it's been a while since we'very had a staff member die..... at least he wasn't murdered, pushed off the roof, run over or stabbed like the staff normally go! It was a nice and very sad departure.

But seriously the staff would have to take out life insurance to work at Holby

I wonder what Rob Ostlere's got planned next? I'm guessing they killed him off as he's got other projects in the pipeline. I've only ever seen him in Holby and Game Of Thrones, I do hope we get to see him in other stuff.

Maybe he'll go back to The Wall. If they can bring Jon Snow back ...

Have been looking on digital spy and that says he was given the choice to leave in an open ended way, but he wanted to properly leave.

And it's on Thursday next week. That will confuse me.

And he and Ethan are friends in real life and had been campaigning to have a scene together

Just caught up with it from Tues - omg I am in tears. Poor Arthur, he didn't deserve to die like that. And great to see Ethan in Holby too - he's Casualty's Version of Arthur for sure.

Finally plucked up the courage to watch Holby. I'm very glad I had come on here first so I was prepared. Whilst I was bawling, I did think it was really well done.

Loved seeing Malik and "Channers" back, and really liked that Ethan was in it.

Argh, just caught up. Yep, I'm a snivelling mess! The sad music at the end and the dream sequence. All very emotional.

Could somebody please tell me who the girl with the baby is and what her relationship to Dom is? And the war medals? Was Lee his boyfriend? I missed a few episodes and am confused.

Also, am I the only one wondering why Digger's poor parents weren't at his death bed or mentioned at all?

Bellini - there was a patient called Lee who Dom was very attracted to. Until Lee was discharged they were doing a lot of smouldering looks, hands brushing stuff and then Lee moved in with Dom and Diggers. He was there for a very short time and then did a runner with lots of stuff from their flat, including Diggers' grandfather's medals. Dom was devastated, Diggers was angry. Then a female patient was admitted with mystery symptoms. Dom was her doc on the ward and discovered a) she was pregnant and b) she was Lee's girlfriend. My memory fails me at this point - perhaps someone else will be able to elaborate.

Then Lee imprisoned/attacked Diggers and Rick Griffin in the staff room. I think Lee ended up getting stabbed and is in custody somewhere.

Wifey was admitted with and had an operation which meant the baby had to be delivered early by emergency CSection. She and Dom seem to have "bonded" or something.

Gosh, SoupDragon , how could I have forgotten the stabbing!? Did you get the feeling that the wife was imagining that she and Dom and baby might make a nice little family - sometimes I overthink these things.

Hell, even I thought they would make a nice family :o

Ah thank you! I remember he stabbing in the staff room but couldn't remember who was the perpetrator or what the connection was.
Poor Dom, he's going to suffer without his best mate with him on the wards. I'm still gutted that a fantastic character like Digby was killed off. It's not often you warm to a character. Even DH who isn't bothered about most things on TV (unless it's football) thought he was great to watch.

It's the funeral tonight and Dom is not coping at work. Be prepared. Tissues at the ready 😢

I love holby but I'm finding all this quite ludicrous . Someone's mum being tea lady, patients choosing who will operate on them . I mean really ?!

I thought at first that Mr Khalid was Lee when they were operating on him

Serina & Dr Army Lady are definitely going to get together. I hope I'm wrong but they way they're playing it out.... It's so cliché.

Poor Dom I want to give him s big hug
