I see it's on Fox tonight: S6 E7
Is that us back from the mid season break, or is it a repeat of what we were watching before xmas?
(oh the waiting......)

squeezed NowTV. I pay £4.99 a month for the sole purpose of watching TWD every Monday night. I can watch it on the computer or on the app on my phone.

That episode started off slow, got tense quickly and ended up with wtf? 😮

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 07/03/2016 22:13

I could hardly watch it was so tense, you just knew it wasn't going to go well for Maggie.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 07/03/2016 22:20

It wasn't my favourite episode... I think next weeks will be great though! When is the finale?

Llareggub · 07/03/2016 22:21

What's the big deal with Morgan? What is it they are keeping secret?

I honestly thought Carol had put poison in those cookies.

AgainstTheGlock · 07/03/2016 22:27

Very unsettling - I really didn't want to watch the last segment after the ads because I felt something awful was going to happen.

KittyOShea · 07/03/2016 22:27

I worried about poison in Carol's cookies too Grin
Looks like she's finally getting her conscience back though which I'm glad to see. She had become far too inhuman.
I found this weeks disturbing.
In a different episode where the governor/ wolves/ random baddies attacked Alexandria I'd be all for Rick's lot but this week it felt like they were the baddies- especially seeing it through the eyes of Glenn and the guy whose name I don't know. Blush
Abraham was also needlessly cruel.
Go Fr Gabriel though- what a turnaround.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 07/03/2016 22:31

Erm Negan is that woman isn't she...Shock

I think the Morgan thing is that he fought with Carol and let the Wolves guy go - so he jeopardised the community. I think that's all it is.

I was shouting at the TV when they were all wandering about in the daylight in the yard, going 'whaaaaaat, you don't know if you've got them all yet!!'

At least Daryl got his bike back Grin

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 07/03/2016 22:33

Did anyone notice that Carol left a cookie at Sam's grave.

The whole thing about Carol being a mother to the group - I totally think that Carol will sacrifice herself for Maggie.

Oh they just said on Talking Dead that Negan is definitely a man.

KittyOShea · 07/03/2016 22:42

Negan is being played by the very hot new private detective in The Good Wife/ Denny from Grey's Anatomy. Can't think of the actor's name but definitely a man.

KittyOShea · 07/03/2016 22:45

Mmmmm

Walking Dead
MichonnesSamuraiSword · 07/03/2016 22:47

Oh I knew I knew him from somewhere... Awwww Denny

Cleebope · 08/03/2016 00:23

I knew when my 17 yr old DS said it was a great episode that I wasn't going to like it. Hope Jesus lasts a while- so charismatic. I did like Carol's new man though, plus how Rick's crew are now killing proactively... About time! But how did they get 3 zombie heads to look like Gregory? That bit was daft. And how come Ab was leaving but then turned up to fight? I really wanna taste those beet and roasted acorn cookies... Battle fuel!

AndYourBirdCanSing · 08/03/2016 06:50

Carol was right, Maggie shouldn't have been there. I did spend a lot of this episode on edge convinced something awful was going to happen.

We need some more Jesus action. I know we saw a bit of it in his first episode but heard he's a fantastic fighter in the comics?

ElderlyKoreanLady · 08/03/2016 08:10

Jesus is pretty much magic in the comics Grin he's amazing.

Abraid2 · 08/03/2016 08:15

Llare that Morgan put lives, specifically that of the community's only medic, at risk.

EricNorthmanSucks · 08/03/2016 08:24

Great episode.

Love the tension between those who believe you just do what you have to to survive and those who feel survival is not enough ( though in reality I suspect humans aren't that conflicted).

Cleebope · 08/03/2016 08:45

Whatcha mean Eric, do u mean Rick's gang are searching for meaningful existence and the saviours/ Hilltoppers are just surviving? What I like is how Rick's gang are now ready for social supremacy, and prepared to get dirty for it- all except Morgan, who was like Dane in seasons 1&2. And look what happened to him.

Cleebope · 08/03/2016 08:47

Oops meant Dale. Morgan is away more dangerous though.

VertigoNun · 08/03/2016 08:49

I like that the psychiatrist made Morgan better and Morgan is making Carole better.

Diddlydokey · 08/03/2016 08:56

I was hiding under a blanket for a lot of that!! But now I'm really looking forward to next week.

I didn't like the killing the sleeping people though.

VertigoNun · 08/03/2016 08:57

To ease the sleeping people killings they showed us the Polaroids.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 08/03/2016 09:17

And it was kill the sleeping people, or be killed by them.

I don't think being killed unknowingly in your sleep is a bad way to go in walker world!

CauliflowerBalti · 08/03/2016 09:22

Negan's gang would only have killed them if they served no other use. Negan needs people alive and scared of him to keep his community going. So not quite kill or be killed. It would have ended this way regardless though. Rick wouldn't have let them take even one beet and acorn cookie.

Morgan is building a prison cell, I reckon.

EricNorthmanSucks · 08/03/2016 09:44

clee I was thinking more of the tension within the Grimes posse.

Rick, Daryl, Aaron, Michonne, Abraham etc seem to have no conflict. It's do what you must. Murder is justifiable to survive.

It's less black and white for Morgan, Carol ( turn round here), Glenn, Heath. Even Michonne seemed unhappy.

It makes it interesting. If everyone just went 'hell yeah let's kill 'em in their sleep' then there's no drama.

The different levels of acceptance make for quite a character piece.

Interesting too that no one is actively fighting against a pre active strike. Even Morgan is pretty half hearted and resigned.
