Does Catherine's son's wife have PND?

Hope that gets dealt with if so.

I watched it again the other night as I enjoyed it so much the first time round on Tuesday. It's easily the best thing on TV at the moment.

Even A.A Gill, who rarely likes any TV show, has raved about it today in the Sunday Times Shock

I'm going to watch it again south before Tuesday. I was tired last week and probably missed loads!

I have a horrible feeling Vicky's going to meet a sticky end.

Mosley would be better off just telling his wife

Oooh my tribe.

I started watching this last series thinking it would be a "naice middle of the road drama" given its title. I don't normally watch this much peril but I'm kind of hooked!

The sound isn't great. My son is a sound designer/mixer. He's chuntering about levels and upfront/background balance technical stuff that makes no sense to me. I just know I have to keep turning the volume up and down to hear what is going on.

DS also did some work on Downton Abbey, which was a thing of beauty sound wise. The production company knew that ITV had the adverts much louder than the programmes so for 2 minutes before the advert break they gently increased the volume to match the adverts and then brought it back down equally gently after the adverts. No sudden "Shit that's loud, turn over!" where the viewer might end up watching something else and not turning back. Very clever!

Brilliant...it's the old theme that anyone is capable of violence if provoked. The falling off the wagon was a bit predictable. Did Catherine clock the TA at the service & will she recognise her? I thought John was looking for the phone on the sofa. The dramatic landscape really enhances the storyline - was a bit worried the series had peaked with such a good first series but this is as compelling as ever.

surely a cop wouldnt accidently be provoked to murder ?

Report
Optimist1 · 16/02/2016 22:35

It did cross my mind when Claire was telling Catherine about Neil's misfortunes that the OW who ruined his life might have been Moseley's Vicky if she makes a habit of that sort of thing. Not that she'll be blackmailing anyone now. I don't think Mosely's going to get out of that one, is he? Far too much DNA/fingerprints etc for him to get rid of. And if she'd emailed the incriminating photos to herself they'd still be in her email account even if he destroys the computer?
