Just saw the trailer for a new series of this - can't wait!

She looked at Ryan and thought he had the TLR 'bad lad' gene.

Tbe mafia trafficking story was a non starter, a script filler.

But surely the prison officer wouldn't just have given Tommy Lee Royce the letter from Ryan? Wouldn't it have rung warning bells?

He looked dead to me and if he'd have survived there would have been a mention of him afterwards.

I thought it was amazing. Will be mourning Tuesday nights till the next series.

Did anyone else wonder if Maxine carr was who Frances resembled at one point when Catherine was chatting to her?

I thought Ryan was going to live with Claire at the end with the fog talk... Thought Catherine had decided she loved and yet hated Ryan too much...

Can I jump onto the thread to ask - why would Daryl's have killed TLR's mum?

I think she was realising she would need to tell Ryan the truth about his mum. Loved it.

The writing in that was good all through but some of it was fantastic. Particularly liked the scenes on the bridge and with Frances.
I'd like another episode next week not wait for the next series.

Not very often the second series is as good as the first . It's been brilllant . Gutted its finished .....for now x

Yes I think Catherine was watching Ryan who is also the child of a monster and thinking about what may lie ahead for him

Her look at the end - it echoed the "she loved him and hated him" comment about Darryl's mother. That was so damn good.

We thoroughly enjoyed it, I can see why a third series might be a consideration.

TLR has a new penal in Ryan although I'm surprised that his post hadn't been vetted and they'd know he couldn't have contact with Ryan.

I actually thought she may have been starting to wonder was Ryan also the result of abuse like Daryl....
