Just saw the trailer for a new series of this - can't wait!

To me, it demonstrated that Ann was not in the slightest bit bothered about seeing a dead body , it then led to her having that chat in front of John and Jodie where she happily discussed seeing him, how he looked [hanging] and how she'd love to be a detective. That in turn led to her looking at the dead body of Vicky in the book and so on.

It just filled in a spot for Ann's character to be fleshed out a bit, that's how I saw it anyway.

Is there a point to the trafficked girls' stories?

I know that a couple(?) of the murdered girls were prostitutes & that that is to outline the difference between them & Vicky, but was there a point to them being trafficked as well?

Diddl - I think the only point is to make Catherine sleep in the conservatory.

diddl I'm hoping there's going to be a point to the trafficked girls too. At the moment the only "point" I can think of is to provide a reason for Catherine to be sleeping in the conservatory (so she gets away when Frances throws a petrol bomb at the house).

C didn't mean that TLR wasn't literally Ryan's dad more in that he wasn't a father figure to him.

She cannot bear Ryan calling him dad so her initial reaction is to tell that he's not.
