Anyone watching Deutschland 83?

Am enjoying it so far. Very intriguing
premise and beautifully shot. I don't mind subtitles, find they make me concentrate more and am very interested in this period of history. Looking forward to see how it develops...anyone else? ( guess most of you are watching War and Peace tonight!)

I thought it was Edel but I guess that was the point. To leave us guessing!

What a brilliant show that was. It feels pretty complete to me, doesn't need 2 more series. Would still like them tho!

That's my gut feeling too but surely he would wait for the results of his HIV test? The nurse basically told him that it was a death sentence IF he had it. But it takes a while for the results to come back (I got myself tested back in the 90s and had to wait a couple of weeks iirc).

Also, I wondered if maybe he saw the note from his mother and decided to kill his father, knowing that he (Alex) might well be dying and therefore had nothing to lose...
