I'm going to be contrary - last week I was annoyed Peter stayed. But based only on the dance-off I thought Peter was better than Kellie this week. But hey-ho. I'm not overly bothered. Kellie to go next week and then probably Katie. Jay, Helen, Anita and Georgia for the final.

I'm glad the judges are now giving a reason for their choices in the DO.

I have been concerned about Jay's Charleston but perhaps he will be able to opt out with that one . Same for the Rumba? But I think he could be a wow in the latter.

Watching Dr Jekyll & Hyde. Now that is compelling viewing

Were Il Divo singing in Italian or Spanish this evening? DD and I couldn't work it out.

At least two of the judges on a singing programme currently broadcasting on another channel.

Another I thought it was much closer than last week but did feel Kellie was better.

I don't think Katie has been in the dance off.

I have no feelings either way for PA. I do think he should have gone last week which is why I am glad he went this week. When I've seen him on TV chat shows, he seems fine. I don't particularly understand the hate for him.

I think Katie should go before Kellie.

Queenbean I agree. And maybe they were saying how nice he is because they actually think he is nice?!

I know someone who knows Anton a bit. Apparently he really wanted Brucie's job when he retired and was gutted he didn't get it. I think he really wants to retire from dancing, but wants to stay on strictly as either a judge or a presenter. I agree that if Len ever retires he'd make a good replacement, although head judge needs to pass on to either Bruno or Craig.

Can those who talk about the spoilers on digital spy kindly stay there please, or stop talking about it on here? Even if you don't say who's out, your knowing "you should definitely go and look " actually really do give it away.

Sigh. I wish the results show was live.

With Katie and Anton, it will depend on which dance they are doing. Anyone know?

Anton appears to think that will be a piece of cake.

I always thought that Anton was a shoe in for Bruce's job, but then the Claudia and Tess pairing worked so well on the results show that the Beeb went with them instead. It was a gamble, but it worked and Anton was a really horrible host on Hole in the Wall. They definitely made the right decission.

He could hardly be first in line for Bruce s job after the Laila Rouass controversy.

I think he was lucky still to have a job after that.

They could have a worse one, I suppose. It is good for Anton - much better than the AT which I thought he made a good job of, considering.
Katie tends to lose her balance when in hold.

They have a large viewer fan club it seems - much larger than K&K.

Georgia's posture in hold was far better than stiff, too upright Helen's. Surely she can lean backwards more with all her ballet training.

How is Kellie still in she is such a clumsy dancer

then again the fear of Danny Dyer doing his walk across the dance floor and giving it some to the judges maybe why

I am not surprised Peter went tonight after all that has been said this week and he has not improved as much as others but was better than Kellie

Il Divo were singing in Spanish Snowstorm.

I also clocked the new dancer shoehorned in at the last minute to replace Ola (who I think is officially suspended after claiming the show was rigged - did she reply to Craig's tweet asking if it was rigged the year she won?) but I don't think it was Katya (AT with whatshisface).

I thought Kellie danced better in the main show than the dance-off tbh, but there again I don't have the PA loathing that most seem to on here. I like Katie, and as Anton is a foxtrot specialist they'll have to end up on their glutes at some point not to do a fab dance next week.

Glad PA's gone, but I wasn't overly impressed with Kellie in the dance-off - the lifts were really awkward, and when PA did one that was very similar I could really see the difference. He smoothed out a few issues in the DO but I think giving him the boot was still a reasonable decision.

Thought the pro dance this week was shite.

Agree snowstorm. This week it was the girls with washing baskets in the laundrette. A couple of weeks ago it was the girls in the typing pool. It's making me a bit cross actually.
