no pregnant woman (yet).
but the first one ticks the huge square box box.

OP posts:

it's not if the money runs out, but when ...

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:28

Why don't people ever get their finances in order before setting off on these massive ego trip builds? Surely you start off with a budget and the get things to fit it? Or are there some magic money fountains where the cashflow is neverending?

Tarzanlovesgaby · 23/09/2015 21:30

maybe they are sooo excited because they are on the telly

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 23/09/2015 21:30

Surely after a life and death experience you want to enjoy your new house not worry for years about how you are going to pay back all the extra money you have borrowed.
So excessive.

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:32

What happens when you sell a house that has two mortgages on it?

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:34

Are they covering the whole house in pebbledash? At that rate they will besitting there in year 3000

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:37

How huge would mortgage repayments would be on a million plus mortgage? Plus half a million loan?

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 23/09/2015 21:39

I can't even imagine...

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:44

The husband doesn't come across as a good accountant, does he?

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 23/09/2015 21:47

Haha! I certainly wouldn't employ him! The wife seems to live in lala land too!

I understand wanting everything to be just perfect after undertaking such a huge project but there have to be some compromises... I couldn't spend invisible money on an interior designer. Just wait!

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:52

I don't like that white roundish shape. I do like that timber cladding and that black cladding.

VioletBumble · 23/09/2015 21:52

I reckon all the money dramatics are for effect - they will have access to deep funds somewhere.

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:52

They don't look awfully happy.

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:54

White sofa brigade.

dillite · 23/09/2015 21:55

Such tiny bedrooms for such a huge house. I would expect much bigger.

rambunctious · 23/09/2015 22:01

crikey.
What are the monthly repayments on a debt of 3.3million?

dillite · 23/09/2015 22:01

Next week looks exciting. Yesterday I watched an old episode where the man built everything himself using his own hands. I have to say that it was such a pleasure to watch someone put his heart and soul into a house.

VioletBumble · 23/09/2015 22:02

Ok they are dafter than I thought.

dillite · 23/09/2015 22:02

More than my annual income I would imagine. Isn't the duration of your mortgage reduced the older you are?

Tarzanlovesgaby · 23/09/2015 22:06

it's a nice house. with some nice details.
but an insane amount of debt.
and it's not even finished.

ssd · 23/09/2015 22:07

pair of twats, these two

blamethecat · 23/09/2015 22:12

After a near death experience you would think living mortgage free and being able to enjoy life with your family would be important not building a £3million house and being so massively in debt you have to work constantly. He seems like a poor accountant if he can't keep on top of invoices. Another silly vanity project. Next week's looks promising though.

BobandKate0 · 23/09/2015 22:16

Did the architect have twatt designer specs ? - just caught a bit with him on the beach,he's got his big colour scarf on and has the goatee beard,so going watch 4 plus, to see if he's gone for the hat trick.
at least kevin wears a scarf inside a coat, perhaps these designers are only cold on their necks ?

Tarzanlovesgaby · 23/09/2015 22:17

I just tried a mortgage calculator but it inly would 'lend' me 2m

rambunctious · 23/09/2015 22:19

I liked the glass fitters. By the looks on their faces they appeared to have the same opinion of him and the build that we do.
