Have only just started watching this and can't believe I've missed it up to now, it's FANTASTIC! I'm about ten episodes into first season. Does it get even better?

Also, if I like this (and loved Breaking Bad), what else would I like?

I rewatched and have to agree that it's lost its way. Most of the main story lines were daft or very unrealistic. It seemed very 'written', almost like a 6th form play - Stella being there just to cause friction between Piper and Alex, Norma having a cult built for her by otherwise worldly inmates just to neatly tie in with her backstory, two of the loneliest inmates finding love in the last five minutes.

I don't think I'll be in a mad rush to watch S4.

Norma storyline - shite. Loved the idea/backstory but waaaay too much screentime, too many people who in reality would laugh at her taken in.

Love Lori Pettys character, she's off her head.

Detest Piper, hope she's on the hitlist after Alex...

The dogget story broke my heart. I though the rape scenes were actually really sensitively done. Hard to watch but I loved how it just captured the emotions and her new found friendship is brilliant. Also loved the journey of revenge plotting then the reality setting in. Amazingly done.

I am also of the theory that bennet buggered off to protect himself before he shopped dayas family. We know he has the support of Caputo. I reakon he got a nice quiet pardon in all the chaos. He was prob hoping to stay close but when he found out the truth he took himself off to set up a home ready for the baby. I hope this is true anyway. Will be gutted if he is just a desserter.

Bring back Nicki but leave the other bitch in there... good looking but no depth just smarm.

The suzanne erotica thing had me in stitches. Also I may have cheered for the return of the chicken and cried when they all went paddling...

Some of the season was good; chicken bit, suzanne erotica, the relationship between healy and red. Nice stuff - the stuff i wasn't so keen on was that Norma storyline. I agree with another poster, it could have been much shorter. I personally wanted to hear more about vee and the fall out of that and also some more back story and littler story arcs woven in amidst all the other long burning ones.
