Have only just started watching this and can't believe I've missed it up to now, it's FANTASTIC! I'm about ten episodes into first season. Does it get even better?

Also, if I like this (and loved Breaking Bad), what else would I like?

I agree whitershade now I'm nine episodes in.

SPOILERS - the Norma thing got ridiculous. I can't believe they dragged it on so long. I could see the more easily led girls getting into it, but Poussey? No. And Piper - what a cow! She gets Alex re-arrested to be with her, is not very sorry about it, and now because Alex is stressed, she just finds herself another love interest? With inmates coming and going and getting searched often, wouldn't the prison quite quickly pick up on all the stolen underwear? How did Flaca get a hefty prison sentence for selling a bit of paper - the charge of fraud for selling 'not illegal drugs' seemed far-fetched.

I'm happy to have OINTB back, but this season seems a bit daft.

Yes I wondered how she was Imprisoned for selling g paper. real drugs are cut with all sorts yet drug dealers are never charged with fraud for selling stuff that's not what it's supposed to be

I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be the flashback to how she went to prison or just show the beginning of her problems and her relationship with her mum. It was the lack of gang tattoos that made me wonder.

The most surprising flashback was Leanne's. I would never have guessed that was her story.

Piper and Alex breaking up was ridiculous. Piper is a bit badass but mostly a dick. The back stories were far too short and bitty - black cindy's dinner scene and who was that even with hobo Jesus?

I loved the end though. Gorgeous. And happy for poussey and soso.

It was Healy with Hobo Jesus, who got electrocuted Marisol or Boo?

I read that Yael Stone was promoted to series regular this season, but I didn't feel we saw very much of her. Morello is a fascinating character to me, especially the way she comes across as so self-contained, yet we know she's totally bonkers on the inside. Poor Christopher!

Morello is fascinating but I think the best characters are the ones that leave you wanting a bit more. I only just found out that Yael Stone is Australian!

I loved Season 3. Much better than season 2 IMO, which I actually did not like - the Vee storyline wasn't very interesting and was too much of the focus. I think because she was a totally new character I wasn't that interested. But this season was great!

I looked up the fake drugs after Flaca's flashback and apparently you really can get 5 years in prison for selling fake drugs in the U.S., for criminal fraud!

Thought it was a shame that Sofia was sort of just forgotten about for the last episode and that whilst they were all on the beach we didn't know what was becoming of Alex... but i did enjoy this series and feel like its left so much room for a good series 4

I only have two episodes left of season 3 I go. My housework has been seriously neglected.
The magical Norma story lines dragged on too much IMO. Biggest surprise was seeing Leanne's backstory.
I think I have a girl crush on Stella.

I found Stella annoying. Beautiful but annoying! It's a shame she was only there to get between Piper and Alex, because I think she could have had a lot of potential as a character. Maybe she and Nicky will return from 'Max' together next season?

It feels like a totally different sort of programme this series. I think maybe it's because it's set in sunny weather they all seem to just be hanging around outside and life isn't so bad! There are way too many back stories. They used to be a real treat and there were so many people who you wanted to know more about, but now there are so many it's almost too much of a good thing. And takes the focus away from prison life. I also really miss the Larry plot. I liked the actors in the Larry sub plot. And what's going on with piper? She's just unbelievably annoying, they've gone too far! And the Mendez scene was totally overdone - just didn't feel right.

I agree, it's lost its nitty gritty feel the first season had, and everyone is too friendly. Although from they last scene in the final episode, it looks like things are about to change in the prison.

I think they've changed Pipers character to drag it out for a few more series maybe. She is only serving a 12 month sentance. So the show could try to carry on without her, or are they setting it up so she is given a longer sentence

The actress who plays Stella is in a relationship with Roald Dahls granddaughter.

Am now sitting down to start the third series. Loved series 2.

I've only got one episode left! :(

Stella is hot as fuck, and piper looks really rough to me this series!?

Absolutely in love with Poussey - think she'll get together with the persons she was hugging at the end. Also adore Crazy Eyes - Uzo is an amazing actress. I found the end of Black Cindy's story arc really touching - I dunno, it just really moved me. But Ruby Rose is very overrated and I agree that the panty storyline and Stella's involvement are being set up to keep them both around.
