Have only just started watching this and can't believe I've missed it up to now, it's FANTASTIC! I'm about ten episodes into first season. Does it get even better?

Also, if I like this (and loved Breaking Bad), what else would I like?

My kids are criminals they bloody watch everything on dodgy sites despite my aversion to it. When it's already all over the internet or "fandom" it's not cool to be behind Grin
Knew it was Netflix just wondered of the US site was ahead of the UK one!

Highly recommend Friday Night Lights,brilliant drama and my 3rd favourite tv series ever (after the west wing and breaking bad)

Just remembered my mum offered yesterday to take dd overnight on Saturday. Was going to say no as dh has a work night out,but dh as never watched OITNB. Suddenly saying no seems silly...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Orange is the new black. I avoided it for ages because I didn't like the sound of it, but I am so glad I tried it - it's one of my favourite programmes ever. It's made me laugh, made me cry, made me really think about the people who end up in prison.

I am almost at the end of season 2. I love Poussay, she's such a sweetheart. Although I fully expect her to take her turn at going bad in the next series. Grin

I am so addicted I now bring my iPad to work to watch it on Netflix in my lunch hour.

Today I watched the mock job interview episode. I loved Poussey's line "She was late today!"

Cannot decide who my favourite character is. Either Poussey or Taystee maybe. Piper is my least favourite.

Oh I love Nicki as well. Some of them go through periods where they are not being likeable or they are doing stupid things, but Nicki and Poussay haven't let me down yet. Grin

I loved Taystee Girl especially after the job interview thing but you will go off her soon Cheese Wink

Aw, and Suzanne aka Crazy Eyes, bless her heart. She does stupid horrible things but you can't help just wanting to hug her. So sad.

The one I can't really feel anything much for that we are supposed to like iyswim, is Black Cindy. Her backstory episode (where you usually get have some sympathy and understanding for how they ended up where they are) just didn't move me. I felt no real compassion for her, just thought she was irresponsible and stupid.

I love Morello. I found her backstory heartbreaking, even though I know if I knew her in RL I'd be going 'WTF? She's a lunatic.'

So many wonderful and truly loveable characters in this show.

I don't like Black Cindy at all- Poussey and Taystee are both very likeable and I couldn't help but feel sorry for Morello...even though she's a nutcase!

I love Morello too but when her whole story was told and she took off with the van I did think of MN and all the "bat shit crazy OW" we talk about here. She's a classic case.

The actor playing Suzanne is so convincing. I gave up on it as found the mix of sad stuff, bleakness, threat, bad/graphic sex and humour a bit confusing.
