It was quite slow wasn't it.

But probably quite realistic in aftermath of affair. Like wading through treacle.

Last night was incredibly dull imo.

I still find Noah's recollection fascinating. In his mind Alison invited him to her Gram's deathbed. Wow! Truly irresistable.
Alison looking at her son's toys made me cry. Also her remembering how they said 'I love you' to each other which completely passed Noah by. I'd still choose Cole, mind. At least he truly loves her.
I could relate to Helen's justification for choosing Noah. Not everyone likes bad boys. I hope she can make peace with herself. Alison and Cole had a much harder life together, and Cole seemed to have taken it in her stride.

I am fascinated by what Alison wears in their different versions. It was a bit surprising that in Noah's memory Alison the waitress wore better clothes than many of the guests...

I'm another one who's finding it really boring but sticking it out. How many more are there?

I do find the differences between their recollections quite interesting but also a bit cliched. So in both episodes where Allison is a waitress, in Noah's recollection she looks a bit vampish with high heels and black tights and in Allison's she's bare-legged with flat shoes. But I do get a bit irritated with how unrealistic it is sometimes. Why wouldn't Allison call her husband and let him know when her Grandmother has had a heart attack? Why would she turn to Noah instead? Why do they not seem to be bothered by being seen in public when both partners know about the affair? Why wasn't Noah nervous about dropping Allison back to her husband's family home??

Also, did anyone else get the feeling that the detective is suspecting that Allison has something to do with the death? All the significant glances at her during the funeral that he gate-crashed?

Noah seems to want their relationship more. He visions are bigger. Sex is better etc

I'm actually still really enjoying it. After binge watching 50 hours of Game of Thrones it's a nice to have something slightly slower paced

I love it, but Noah's accent is killing me!

I'm really enjoying it. It's not all crash bang wallop in your face, but I like that!

There is plenty to read between the lines, lots open to interpretation. They're both unreliable narrators. Or are they? The blog is still interesting reading.

I'm still enjoying it and finding Joshua Jackson v good in it as Cole and IMO by far the sexiest of the two men. my DH looks a bit like him (DH is better looking IMO!) especially the brow and eyes: the bit with cole's sad eyes when Alison tells him who she's been shagging made me feel weirdly guilty!

I love Joshua Jackson in this. IMO he should've been cast as DW's part and had the affair with Alison, much more believable then! I just

At last we have caught up with this, so I can finally look at this thread. It's pretty slow (the show, not the thread ). I found it a bit difficult to understand why Alison would be shagging Noah when her husband is so hot. But apart from suspending my disbelief on that, I'm really enjoying it. Although DH and I are wincing our way through some of it (due to some um ... infidelities in our past)

I think, rather than being bulimic, Whitney is pregnant. She was sneaking off upstairs with Scott in Alison's version of the first Butler party so could Scott be the father?I've been really enjoying this and find the pace about right as mystery unfolds.

Ghoul I thought she was pregnant, but it did not occur to me that Scott could be the father. Great catch!

There were a few comments about Scott plus a mystery brunette (by one of his brothers perhaps?). That could be Whitney too.

Good catch on the pregnancy! Felt really sorry for Alison tonight - her grief is all consuming & seems to me like she's shagging anyone to try to 'feel' something. Dreadful, poor thing.

I love this series so much! Noah makes me flipping skin crawl though,I was so happy when Helen finally flipped at him.

So we now have a motive for him killing Scotty, I'm guessing we're not going to find out what happened though as there is only one episode left.
