Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

OP posts:

Dany is a sucky ruler but I hope Tyrion will talk some sense in to her

I thought it was Drogon that was still missing? If indeed it is one of Dany's dragons, maybe it's a different one Shock Peter Dinklage's reaction was such a fab moment, total awe

I also guffawed at 'Fewer' - who knew Stannis is such a snarky bugger?

I was so nervous during the dinner party! I do enjoy Roose's 'yes, yes, whatever' reaction to Ramsey's psycho moments, although he does occasionally have a reaction that shows he is aware of quite how unhinged his son is. I think he may come to regret that he didn't throw that baby in the river Shock I am worried for both Sansa, whom I much prefer to Arya, and Roose's wife who's name I keep missing now that she's carrying a potential rival to Ramsey

AldiQ7 · 11/05/2015 23:05

What was the 'fewer' thing with Stannis, I l didn't hear it properly?

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 11/05/2015 23:07

Yes I think the wife (and the baby Sad) are in massive danger.

Also thought Dany is becoming unhinged...like her father.

There MUST be a link to Stannis telling his daughter he found people to cure her of the stone thingy and Jorah getting it...right?? There is a way to stop it, it seems?

Cooroo · 11/05/2015 23:12

For AldiQ7: mashable.com/2015/05/11/stannis-baratheon-grammar/

I hate to break your hope bubble but this is Game Of Thrones, I've already written Jorah's obituary :p I think the conversation him and Tyrion had, about it being kinder to stab them in the heart, may be a sad prediction Sad

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 11/05/2015 23:16

Also, the stone men touched Tyrion, didn't they? And Jorath touched Tyrion - oh no!

yumyumpoppycat · 11/05/2015 23:16

Sansa looks very gothic ... it is all getting very dark. Poor Tyrion, he didn't kill sansa's brothers, but he did betray them and kill those other boys.

So I guess the other characters involved in the stonemen scene in the books are being left out?

Chief I was watching for it after your comment, and yes it was rather pointed with maester aemon. On a side note, I thought the baftas were funny because they showed an interview with jon snuur and John Snow Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 11/05/2015 23:20

love it that stannis is winning fans by being a stickler for grammar Grin . It is interesting how Stannis is coming across quite well recently, that could either mean he will be dead next week or an important player in the fight against the walkers!

yumyumpoppycat · 11/05/2015 23:20

ooops sorry I meant theon not tyrion.

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 11/05/2015 23:25

I saw the Snow/Snuurr interview and it was really funny - 'you bastard' Grin Kit Harington seems game for a laugh, possibly trying to shake off the miserable image he has because of Jon and his sad resting face. Was the comedy sketch he did as Jon Snow at a dinner party linked on here? He played it completely straight, it's fab

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 11/05/2015 23:25

Ah yes, good catch about Tyrion and the stabbing in the heart thing.

I also thought Tyrion was touched (pulled under) by one?!

limitedperiodonly · 11/05/2015 23:50

AldiQ7 It's not less but fewer, as any fule kno. But after pointing it out Stannis muttered 'never mind'.

AmberFool · 12/05/2015 07:27

Tyrion had shoes/clothes on when pulled under. I assume Jorah got "touched" when trying to save Tyrion.

yumyum all those characters in the stonemen scene and their stories have been cut from the show. That's why Jorah has greyscale instead of JC.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 12/05/2015 07:32

Jon Snow at a dinner party - about five minutes long, very funny! Thanks for mentioning that, I hadn't seen it before.

yumyumpoppycat · 12/05/2015 09:25

Hmmm interesting Amber, that story did stick in my head but I guess it is prob not that vital to overall story apart from the similarities with viserys being hurt by fire, and of course adding to the game of thrones theme.

limitedperiodonly · 12/05/2015 09:26

That's brilliant gasp

yumyumpoppycat · 12/05/2015 09:33

Grin love the bit when he is wandering around the table waving his sword. That cloak does look pretty crazy away from the wall!

PonyoLovesHam · 12/05/2015 11:16

I thought the bit with the stone men was ok, the part that made me feel creeped out was when the focus was on Tyrion in the boat as the dragon flew over, and just behind him a stoneman fell with a big heavy splash in the water. It was really creepy (for me anyway).

Baddz · 12/05/2015 11:22

Rooses wife is called walda...one of Walder Freys daughters.
I think dany is starting to go a Bit odd too.
They seem to have missed out a lot of the book so far.
I like stannis more each week! Smile

PonyoLovesHam · 12/05/2015 11:23

Jon snow as a dinner party guest is brilliant ??

limitedperiodonly · 12/05/2015 11:50

It was really witty this week - what was that thing Tyrion said? Something like 'sullen silences and the occasional punch in the face.' Also the Boltons' dinner party from hell.

Walda seems genuinely kind but I wouldn't like to come between her and the last chicken drumstick at a picnic. Also she's another one like Pycelle who plays dumb when she's obviously not. That baby news was a deliberate dig. At least it gave Sansa a hint of a smile.

I can't help thinking that those faithful old retainers who keep telling Sansa that 'the North remembers' are playing a trick on her. Ramsay said something like that about Theon's betrayal of the Starks I think. They also look like they've wandered in from a Monty Python film.

And the ruined city was beautiful. I'd really liked to have seen that at the cinema.

IvoryMadonna · 12/05/2015 12:33

"The North Remembers" sounds like a proverb or catchphrase though. I don't think it's specific to Sansa's situation. It was the title of an earlier episode, wasn't it?

limitedperiodonly · 12/05/2015 12:48

Oh is it? A repeated saying like 'winter is coming'? I must have missed it.

It was odd when Melisandre said 'you know nothing Jon Snow' but then she's a witch so she probably knows all sorts of things.

yumyumpoppycat · 12/05/2015 12:58

I think the melissandre thing was just for humour....it was a bit clumsy really, she is supposed to 'see stuff' but really is the importance of that phrase something that she would psychically know, maybe it was a coincidence.

I think the North remembers is more of a genric war sentiment... makes me think of people at great risk hiding refugees in WWII

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 12/05/2015 13:23

I think melly was letting Jon snurr know that she knew about his 'weakness' (ie ygritte) and that she had the measure of him.
