Game of thrones season 5!!!9 sleeps!

Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

Assuming the R+L=J theory is true, is there anyone left alive in the series/books who could confirm it? I know some characters have hinted at it, but would they actually know?

I was thinking about that earlier saskia - will prob turn out some random character (varys probably) will have been present at the birth or something! My guess is that the relevance will be around the dragons.

Yes, there is Howland Reed, father of Jojen and Meera. He knows, because he was there. But we haven't met him yet. I also reckon Maester Aemon knows the score.

Well cercei's kids and her self could be right at the front of the que if the religious fanatics decide to listen to the towns folk!

I don't think they are spoilers - just gossip of what could happen. I always guess who done it in murder fiction but always way of on GOT as the polt twists so much and I don't think the writer has any locality to its characters as many big names have been slaughtered! Still reeling from the wedding massacre ! Shock

Soooooo Jon snow could air to the throne more than Danny ! Grin

Although Dany is legitimate so that makes her claim stronger? I guess that is one of the points of the running theme of illegitimate children who are still a threat to the throne?

In the R+L=J theory Jon is generally seen as being a legitimate heir- targaryens were known to have two wives (Aegon the conqueror married both his sisters). The theory goes that Jon is not, after all, a bastard.

I agree with you that the R+L=J is not technically a spoiler and the books haven't confirmed it any more than the tv series has. It's a cracking theory.

I can't wait to see who will be the dragon riders. Tyrion, Jon and..? Dany?

I feel sorry for Tommen too. Cersei is so stupid. She genuinely loves him but she's put him in such danger because of her envy of Margaery.

He could have been killed if he hadn't backed down when he tried to speak to the High Sparrow yet she sent him there.

Also with Mycella. She's in danger because Cersei had a hand in Oberyn's death because of her hatred of Tyrion. But she doesn't seem to realise it at all.

It would be boring if she knew what she was doing.

I wonder what will happen when Olenna comes back and teams up with Margaery.

I have heard a theory that we have met Howland Reed. It sounded convincing. Do any of you listen to Podcasts? Or am i the only sad git who downloads two of them?

I can't think where we've met Howland Reed, he's been referred to a few times in books and on the show. Grrm has said we will meet him at some point in an interview though iirc.

I'm finding Day quite dull at the moment (or possibly always) - hopefully she'll listen to Tyion when he turns up and not just set him on fire or something.

She has good intentions but as far as actualy ruling goes she's likely to be just as much of a trainwreck as Cersei.
