Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

I bet they did Tequila.

It's just that your memory is a bit hazy

IvoryMadonna · 04/05/2015 23:18

I'm sure Littlefinger knows all about what Ramsay gets up to. He just didn't want Ramsay to know he knows.

Lweji · 05/05/2015 00:08

Another perfectly harmless king snake killed.

Plus, doesn't Melisandre get cold? That's the bloody wall where everyone wears fur coats.

"your niece"? Hmm Grin

Cooroo · 05/05/2015 06:34

Melisandre is immune to cold as the Lord of Light's fire burns within her. Or something. Was she trying to seduce Jon or testing him? Maybe this proves he is in fact Azor Ahai?

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 05/05/2015 07:06

The dire wolf in the first episode had babies, maybe that's why she died?

Melosandre wants powerful sperms and Jon as leader of the nights watch and blood of the starks has power. I think she may know about R+L=J too as that would make him super powerful.

TheFirstOfHerName · 05/05/2015 08:51

I thought she was hoping to make another shadow baby; hence the comment she made about her & J "casting shadows". I wonder who this one would have been sent to kill?

Trills · 05/05/2015 09:00

Er, there was a dead direwolf in Episode 1 that had been killed by a stag. Well, they had killed each other.

That one was either heavily pregnant, in the midst of giving birth, or nursing tiny puppies - it was at a disadvantage!

bookwormbeagle · 05/05/2015 11:16

I was a bit confused last night during the conversation with Sansa and Littlefinger, and when she was lighting the candles. Location wise, particularly with the statue of Lyanna, it seemed to be underneath Winterfell?! I thought she was supposed to be at Dreadfort? Have I missed something?

yumyumpoppycat · 05/05/2015 11:30

I think Sansa is at Winterfell now Bookworm, the Boltons are rulers of the North now or some similiar title and were at winterfell in the books, I am a bit confused too though as they didn't make it very clear or make much of the fact she was coming home?

yumyumpoppycat · 05/05/2015 11:32

Yes Thefirst I wondered about that, maybe Roose Bolton is next on the hit list?

Tequilashotsfor1 · 05/05/2015 12:11

limited I've always been busty even in school Sad

yummy mine melt on to the bed when I go to sleep Grin

I've watched every episode and don't know what a shadow baby is ? Is that what they are turning all the baby boys in to when they are offered to the White walkers?

I was also a bit Confused at Sansa in the winter fell crypt

Lweji · 05/05/2015 12:30

I didn't read the books but I got the impression that she was in Winterfell, including from the comment by the servant in the previous episode.

bookwormbeagle · 05/05/2015 12:37

YY agree it was definitely Winterfell, although seeing as it was in ruins after Theon did the dirty there you'd have thought they would have shown more of Sansa's reaction at seeing her home again. Very strange.

I liked all the references to the Harrenhall tourney, blue roses etc, will be fab to see if the theories are correct Grin

bookwormbeagle · 05/05/2015 12:40

Tequila the shadow baby that I remember was when Melisandre was rowed out to sea by Davos and she revealed a huge baby bump, wailed a bit and a black shadow emerged from her. Shortly afterwards Renly Baratheon was killed by a strange shadow (witnessed by Cat Stark and Brienne).

yumyumpoppycat · 05/05/2015 12:47

Yes that was the shadow baby vair creepy.

Maybe something about arriving at winterfell got cut during editing, either that or we all missed a vital line! Possibly it was previusly established the Boltons were at winterfell therefore we were expected to join the dots and Littlefinger deliberately gave Sansa the wrong information on their journey?

Tequilashotsfor1 · 05/05/2015 13:32

Shock oh yes I remember now! Oh God yes defo wanted John snows shadow baby!

I would happily have John snows human baby!

What do you think the white walkers are doing with the baby boys then? As they didn't kill the one I seen Being offered he just got a blue iris?

bookwormbeagle · 05/05/2015 13:45

Ooohh yes Jon Snow is lovely, loving him in his new Commander role!

Don't think it's been shown really what the deal is with the baby boys. Think this will be shown more over the coming episodes/future seasons.

yumyumpoppycat · 05/05/2015 13:54

They had one scene with a creepy old white walker king being presented with a baby on some kind of altar, and I think the assumption is the boys are forming part of his army? In the books this is part of Bran's story which has been set aside for this season apparently?

yumyumpoppycat · 05/05/2015 13:56

I was more a Jon fan but is he slightly less attractive this season, a wee bit too shaggy maybe? still luffs him though!

AmberFool · 05/05/2015 14:19

I was a bit meh about this episode, apart from Stannis and Shireen. Aw. But, I don't hold out much hope for Shireen what with the King's blood running through it. Jon, send her away.

The greyscale has been mentioned a fair few times, I wonder if it's going to be furthered.

Sandsnakes were a bit young and some terrible acting too. Smile

Shame people on this thread have spoilt the big backstory for those who have not read the books and might not have picked up the clues yet on the show. Sad

Lweji · 05/05/2015 15:14

This episode really didn't do much for me either, but I think it's setting up the stories for development perhaps already in the next episode. I think it will be quite heavy.
Jaime at Dorne, Tyrion meeting Daenerys, Sansa possible wedding or Stannis going for Winterfell (?), the power struggles between the two queens.

The white walker story is dragging up quite a bit. I hope it becomes relevant soon.

yumyumpoppycat · 05/05/2015 15:17

Which of the story lines Amber - if the parentage one, that is all just guessing at the moment - it hasn't been revealed, or even written possibly, in the books, and the tv show can and does still take different directions. Also there were apparently clues in yesterdays episode which is why it came up? Part of the fun in these tv threads is people put forward theories based on clues they have picked up on which may or may not be correct? It is beyond difficult because the books and show blur into one a bit and also take different twists?

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 05/05/2015 15:32

R+L=J is not a spoiler it's a fan theory.

AmberFool · 05/05/2015 17:18

That's true, it is a fan theory. Point taken Smile but still it would have been nice for viewers to come to it by themselves. Ah well.

Lweji - you're probably right, it did feel like a setting up of the stories. I don't think there is much of a power struggle going on between the two queens at the moment, Cercei seems to be winning hands down. I am assuming that Cercei's plan will backfire on her spectacularly though.

IvoryMadonna · 05/05/2015 18:47

In the opening titles Winterfell is no longer a smoking ruin because it is being rebuilt by the Boltons, and their Flayed Man sigil can be seen over it.
