Grin Anyone else counting down the days! I actually get nervous thinking about it. I have re watched all series and reading the books to pass the time.

Can't wait to see what they do with Sansa and Tyrion this series. And will we see the hound again and lady stone heart?

OP posts:

Missed the first 5 minutes but it was a really good episode woo hoo.

Sansa is a really good twist from the books and makes a lot of sense, it will increase the drama in that story ... if it stays the same that is!

Ruthless of Jon Snow , I kind of thought he should back down and pat whatsisname on his head and tell him to behave better in future....very good following through of consequences, supernanny would be proud ;)

yumyumpoppycat · 27/04/2015 22:22

I think tyrion's conversation with the girl in the brothel gave him away, he said he always pays his debts etc.

VoteForAlanBstard · 27/04/2015 22:34

But Jorah was exiled years ago I thought, would he know who Tyrion was? Bad move on Tyrion's part, those bloody Lannisters and their debts. Even now he couldn't resist trying to show off.

I hope Littlefinger has something up his sleeve as far as Sansa's concerned. Shes not strong enough to take down Ramsay and Roose together.

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 27/04/2015 22:34

Oooooh Jorah! Clappy hands!

Def back on form with this episode - I was starting to worry it had lost its edge too.

SerJorahsSecondChoice · 27/04/2015 22:38

Jon's bit was very reminiscent of Ned in the first series wasn't it.

But I can't bring myself to care about Sansa. It's that stroppy teenager voice - grates on me.

TheFirstOfHerName · 27/04/2015 22:49

I really enjoyed this episode. Poor Sansa. From one arranged marriage with a sociopath to another.

ShebaRabbit · 27/04/2015 22:51

Poor Sansa marrying a psycho. The boy who plays Ollie is doing a great job, loved his frown when Janos was kicking off Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 27/04/2015 22:52

Yes her voice is really annoying!

Ser Jorah was selling information about Dany to the Lannisters at first I think, so prob still has ear to the ground.

yumyumpoppycat · 27/04/2015 22:54

Thefirst yy poor sansa, the black mourning clothes are very appropriate.

ShebaRabbit · 27/04/2015 23:24

I thought it was Varys he was selling the info to for Robert.

Lweji · 28/04/2015 00:15

So, Sansa is about to become a bigamist...

Jon Snow really lost it when the creep showed how coward he was. He had to go, really.

CadieAgain · 28/04/2015 00:37

Loving the scenes with Cersei and her new darling DIL Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 28/04/2015 01:10

I think Ser Jorah was too and that is why Dany banished him?

Cooroo · 28/04/2015 06:04

Loved Jonathan Pryce as Head Sparrow too - so much good stuff in that episode.

Trills · 28/04/2015 08:50

Why wouldn't Jorah recognise Tyrion? He was in the Seven Kingdoms at the time when Robert was king and Cersei queen, so Tyrion might have been around, they might have met drinking after a tourney or similar.

Tyrion is crap at being incognito though.

ShebaRabbit · 28/04/2015 09:12

Imagine the AIBUs Margaery and Cersei could post Shock

ILikeToClean · 28/04/2015 09:35

Good episode - loved Margary's PA comments to Cersei, very clever.

Ooh Jon Snow being all masterful - quite sexy Grin and yes was very much like Ned in episode 1. Liked Stannis' little nod of approval to him after.

There are still lots of characters I wonder about (have only read the first book) - Cat's brother who married the Frey girl, Robert's bastard who was last seen with the red witch, presume both dead?

And I wonder if Reek is acting, he recognised Sansa, will he rise again as Theon?

The Boltons give me the creeps, poor Sansa!

ShebaRabbit · 28/04/2015 09:59

Davos sent Gendry (Robert's bastard) off in a boat before Melisandre could burn him so he's still knocking around. Think Cat's brother was in Walder's jail last we heard.

CoolCadbury · 28/04/2015 10:50

Gosh, some of the plots have really departed from the books, hasn't it? I, too, am not sure how I feel about it.

Just a few points. Poor Sansa - having to marry the creepy, sadistic Ramsey. However, I absolutely do not believe for a minute that Littlefinger would not have known all there is to know about Ramsey. If he knows about Roose, he knows about Ramsey. After all, knowing about people is his bread and butter.

Reek is understandably avoiding Sansa but I reckon he will come good as she is his foster sister. And the old woman (was it Old Nan?) saying "the North remembers" was a great way of showing that people haven't forgotten that the Boltons are traitors and they have not been forgiven.

And finally, when Sansa was introduced to Ramsey, why did the camera pan towards the 3 young women in the crowd? What was that about?

CoolCadbury · 28/04/2015 10:55

Oh, were the young women the unfortunate ones who are tortured by Ramsey and eventually hunted? Someone seriously needs to kill that man.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 28/04/2015 10:58

Ramsay had a gaggle of girlfriends in the book at least one is as psychopathic as him so maybe that's foreshadowing something horrible happening to Sansa. I'm not sure how they can have Ramsay be as awful to the real Sansa as e is to fake arya in the book, as fake arya is obviously a symbol and nobody seems to know or care that she's being abused whereas real Sansa is known and also known about (by littlefinger)

CadieAgain · 28/04/2015 11:16

Sheba, yy some cracking AIBU fodder there!

"The North remembers" was a great moment.

CadieAgain · 28/04/2015 11:18

Oh, and Varys' whole-body eye-roll in the background when Tyrion is shooting his mouth off at the man who rubbed his head Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 28/04/2015 11:20

I think one girl in particular was focused on and I think she may be the one who 'loves' Ramsay. It did cross my mind that one of them may be Jayne, I can't remember what happened to her in the TV version. Unless they are the prostitute girls from the books who become quite important... ok I don't actually know but thought I did. Makes me want to re-watch the box sets!

Degustibusnonestdisputandem · 28/04/2015 11:22

Agreed, excellent episode, eagerly awaiting next week's!
