On MrsPeabody's advice I've started a new one.

OP posts:
Aridane · 24/03/2015 09:01

Rick is the new Shane...

Aridane · 24/03/2015 09:02

All this Wolves stuff - sorry to be dense - but other than the 'W's carved into bodies, what has already happened in this regard / been foreshadowed?

Aridane · 24/03/2015 09:04

Did anyone see The Talking Dead immediately after the last episode?

Carl / Chandler was on it for the first time, and he came across as really nice.

A while back - look at the flowers - when Lizzie and her sister were on it, it was really need to see a perfectly normal Lizzie!

ApocalypseNowt · 24/03/2015 09:06

HaveTea Lalalalalalala....can't hear you......

Question: how did Nicholas find Rick's gun in the first place? Are we meant to think he was out there watching the group? Because otherwise it'd be a hell of a lucky find. But it doesn't seem likely Nicholas would be out there by himself cos he's such a coward. Am a bit confused about that one.

Also i had the thought that no-one seemed massively bothered about Deanna's son not coming back. Thought there'd be more of a fuss.

CrispyFern · 24/03/2015 09:08

I'm quite worried for Glenn too, although they could be bluffing with the build up of Nicholas. I am worried for Carol. I think she might throw herself in front of a zombie to save that little boy.

I did notice Rosita had her second line ever in the show. I hope that doesn't mean she's being bumped off before doing anything at all. Has she ever done anything?

That music was awful.

ApocalypseNowt · 24/03/2015 09:08

Aridane there's been graffiti in other episodes. I think the wolves are coming was on a wall at the compound where Noah's family was.

NickiFury · 24/03/2015 09:09

I don't think Rick is the new Shane at all. There's some parallels sure but the difference is he asked Jessy if she wanted him to deal with it and exhausted all other options - Deanna, first. Plus he's also got Carol winding him up. I also think that the kiss when they were passing Judith between them was not sexual. I think he's been without affection for so long and he never got the chance to have that affectionate exchange with Lori, the actual mother of Judith that he impulsively did it with Jessy without hardly realizing. It's difficult to know why Michonne knocked him out, either she's playing the long game and doesn't want to show their hand to the Alexandrians too early or she really wants to stay because she sees their people (Sasha) need this. Personally I think the former.

But could be wrong about all of this Smile.

ApocalypseNowt · 24/03/2015 09:14

I laughed when Michonne knocked Rick out. I thought she'd just had enough of the overwrought speech he was waffling on with. As had I.

NickiFury · 24/03/2015 09:19

Maybe Nicholas is a wolf and trying to undermine the group and pick off the Alexandrian posse one by one so they're weaker when his group come. Then Rick and co came along and put a big old spanner in the works. I hope Aaron doesn't die. I really like him. He's got potential to make into Rick's gang as a long term member imo.

BeccaMumsnet · 24/03/2015 09:25

I really don't think I could handle it if anything happened to Glenn.

I hope Rick doesn't turn all nasty Sad
I will carry on believing he's good on the inside!

Fingers crossed we actually find out about that 'W'/wolves thing soon - I hate it when they tease us with these things and then don't follow through until 2 seasons later!

ApocalypseNowt · 24/03/2015 09:26

What's the bloke's name who is with Daryl? I thought there was a moment in last night's episode where he looked a bit dodgy. Like he was going to lure Daryl into a trap or get him out of the way or something? May have been my imagination

Agree with you about Aaron Nickl

TheHoundsBitch · 24/03/2015 09:44

Aaron is the one with Daryl.
I think Maggie might be for it, Glenn is crying in the trailer for next week :(
I hope Aaron and Enid are goodies and join the group. Do we think they will meet Morgan in the finale? Or will we just get another peek at him and have to wait until next season?
I can't believe there's only one left :(

NickiFury · 24/03/2015 09:49

If Rick, Carl, Glenn or most importantly Daryl get it then I will never watch again. Everyone else I can handle, I'd be pissed off but would get over it.

MrsPeabody · 24/03/2015 09:52

I think if they were going to kill Maggie, it would have been at the prison. There was more focus on her then and it would have been a bigger loss. Now you wouldn't notice, so it wouldn't be very dramatic or heartfelt.

BreakingDad77 · 24/03/2015 09:53

Was initially thinking TWD The Angry Bake Off lol

I have been wondering if Nicholas will try to frame either Rick or Glen with that gun.

I kinda half smiled as rick was going off on his 'yer dont understand maaan monolgue.......' and michonne 'interrrupted'

When sasha was watching through her scope at the walkers weren't there non zombies (wolves) running along?

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 24/03/2015 09:54

ROBERT KIRKMAN CARES NOT ABOUT YOUR FEELZ.

He's such a mad genius/douche.

MrsPeabody · 24/03/2015 09:57

I thought that at first breaking, but it might have been everyone running to ricks fight?

Aridane · 24/03/2015 10:03
  • I think Glen is going to get it (no reason, just a feeling).

  • However, would like Carol to die.

  • Would be impressed though if they have the nerve to kill off Rick - esp if done by one of 'his' group - eg Daryl (ah, imagine Daryl looking after Judith...)

ScarlettInSpace · 24/03/2015 10:36

I also think Glenn is gonna geddit - also for absolutely no reason, I've felt it since the start of the season. Deffo either him or Maggie...

Apocolypse my OH said exactly the same about Aaron looking shady in the woods.

I actually said out loud 'Go on Michonne' when she knocked out Rick, I don't care what her motivation was he was doing my head in waffling shite Grin

limitedperiodonly · 24/03/2015 10:45

I found Carol and Enid running in slo-mo through the zombie enchanted forest the most nauseating thing of the whole five seasons.

OP posts:
BeccaMumsnet · 24/03/2015 10:55

Oof me too limitedperiodonly.

Forget walkers looking all gross, that scene - just no.

ScrappyMalloy · 24/03/2015 11:08

I did feel sorry for Jessie though - Rick says he will stop her husband attacking her, and then just wrestles around with him. That's hardly likely to give her husband food for thought. And, he was pretty tough for a doctor Shock

Plus, I have to say that a doctor/surgeon is a pretty handy person to have around in an apocalypse situation, and not the kind of human that you would alienate or murder. It's not as if they can advertise for a new one, so I understand why Deanna kept him on, although not why she didn't keep Jessie and the boys safe.

limitedperiodonly · 24/03/2015 11:23

As soon as we got the outside shot of Pete and Jessie's house I knew someone was going to come flying through the window.

My first thought was: 'Who's going to fix that?'

My next was that it was ironic that it was Rick, seeing as he was the one talking about the Broken Windows Theory of crime-fighting last week.

OP posts:
TheArchchancellorsHat · 24/03/2015 11:33

Yeah it seemed to me that the community could have kept Jessie and her son safe whilst still keeping the valuable doctor around. Loads of better ways to work that out other than Carol's idea of "you have to KILL HIM Rick!" or Deanna's "weeeeeell, y'know, we need a doctor, soooo..."

ScrappyMalloy · 24/03/2015 11:41

Yes, I though there must be some middle ground between 'kill the doctor' and 'Sorry Jessie, you just have to suck it up'.

I forgot about the broken window speech last week - good spot.
