The other thread was full and people still seem pretty pissed off about the whole series, so I thought we'd better have another thread to moan about it

I wished that the ending would have been the vicar receiving a text from Ellies son saying "see you later!" What a great cliff hangar that would be!

When Claire was telling Pippa's dad (Ricky was it?) that she'd buried the hipflask in the bluebell wood in case she needed future 'evidence' to blame him prove he'd killed his daughter and only she knew where it was, I was half expecting him to get on Ebay and search for metal detectors the minute her back was turned. I know I would have!

I don't even think Pippa did think that Lee had murdered the other girl. She was about to say something else about what she'd heard going on and Claire cut her off and didn't let her finish. Then drugged her . Wouldn't you want to hear everything if you'd come home to find somebody dead? I'd be subtly quizzing for every last detail, not going "shh now and drink this 'medicine' wink wink).

I was going to post on this thread today.

I saw a bloke building a fence. And I found it hilarious, because of this thread. Luckily I didn't laugh out loud so I didn't have to explain it to DH.

I will be heartbroken if The Missing 2 is crap. But even if it is, I will still watch it because of Baptiste

They can't leave out the best character, that would be like making a new series of Broadchurch without psychic Will Mellor in it.

The ending was different to Broadchurch iirc.

Article here in which Chris Chibnall purports to defend "Legalgate". However, it's a thoroughly dishonest article as it completely ignores the totally indefensible errors such as the family choosing the prosecution QC, the utterly stupid public middle of the day exhumation, the discussion about the confession in the presence of the jury, and many other nonsenses. if their legal advisers seriously said those were OK, they need to be struck off immediately.
