I think that's the nub of it, WildHeart - he'll be doing more on Downton (yawn) so won't be able to do as much on Good Wife. Bloody shame of it - Downton is utter toot and a waste of Matthew Goode.

I agree. If he's made the choice then it's the wrong choice, IMO. I watch Downton religiously though

I have never watched Downton so am definitely in the Matthew Goode should stay in Good Wife camp. See he even has his name in the title. A bit like Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.

He looks quite hawt in the Downton period get-up though.

Although in the last Good Wife, at the end when he goes to her apartment, he is wearing a very good suit and looks particularly fine. Hello tiger!

Isn't this series of Downton the last one? If so, I can't imagine him leaving TGW to fully commit to one series of Downton, maybe we'll just see a bit less of him for a bit.
